Dr. Britt Ashley Thedinger, MD

I was referred to Dr. Thedinger because my local ENT thought I was leaking cerebral spinal fluid from my right ear. In the pre-op phone review he said I wasn't. I asked if I could have my mastoidectomy locally and he said once referred, I would be with him. They did not accept my Medicaid, offer no financial assistance and accept no partial payments so if you're financially struggling at all I CANNOT recommend.

Great ear surgeon. My surgery for Meniere's Disease went as planned. Easy to talk to.

He said I had Meniere's and BPPV even after seeing testing that showed I had neither. Said do a maneuver for 1 week. Didn't help. Said to re-test for BPPV. Again the re-test showed no BPPV. Said to "monitor" my symptoms for 2 weeks and come back (I live in Sioux City IA). Saw another specialist who confirmed I didn't have BPPV. Wasted a lot of time and money at this office.

I would not recommend him to anyone. We were sent to him by our local ENT, drove 2 hours to an appointment for him to come in the room for 5 minutes, he barley even looked in my son's ears. He would not listen to anything we told him has been going on. He is arrogant, I have been in the medical field a long time and he is one of the worst doctors I have come across.

He is by far the worst doctor I have ever been to. He is rude and arogant, and judgmental. He does not really care about you and hurries through his surgeries because "he can." I advise anyone and everyone to go to someone else.

Very kind and professional. He takes the time to explain your condition in lay terms. I did not have to wait long and for the short time I waited, It was definitely worth it. I Highly recommend this Dr.

I would not see the dr. He doesn't listen to you. He makes a diagnosis before he walks in the door to see you. He is arrogant and self fulfilling. He does not Listen To You! If you dont have a diagnosis that is interesting to him you are dirt!!! He walked out of the room during a visit to discuss my ear issues. He left me sitting there and I did not know what to think. I have never had that happen go me by any other provider. Avoid him!!!

He seems to be an average at best ent. He is very moody and seems more interested in hustling hearing aids to the elderly than providing the latest technologies and procedures for patients with inner ear problems requiring surgery. Out of his league
