Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Simply put... I want to help others. I feel that I can best do this by providing suggestions for dietary and lifestyle changes that will aid in managing medical conditions and promoting overall health. I grew up with special dietary needs, so I've had to adjust my diet from an early age. I think this allows me to be more in tune with my patient's struggles and individual needs. What I want my patients to know about me:The most rewarding part of my job is knowing that something I did helped a patient to improve their quality of life.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy being outdoors and in nature, especially hiking, camping, and being near water. I love all animals, but especially horses and dogs. I've carried on a tradition that my mother started years ago, which involves cooking/baking a new recipe with family on a monthly basis.
