Dr. Bruce P Benifiel, DDS

Granger, IN Dentist - Dr. Bruce Benifiel - Cosmetic & Family Dentistry 
Dr. Benifiel is a life long resident of the Michiana area. Born in South Bend, he graduated from John Adams High School. An avid golfer, Dr. Benifiel worked for eight years, during high school and college summers, in the Morris Park Country Club golf shop. It was here that he began his service oriented philosophy.
Attending Indiana University, Bloomington on the prestigious Evans Scholarship, he received his BA degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry, Psychology and English.
While at I.U., he was a member of the Evans Scholars fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society, and the I.U. Student Foundation.
Dr. Benifiel is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1987. He was also awarded the Block Drug Award for his work with chemotherapy and its effects on oral mucosa.
While actively practicing dentistry in the Elkhart and Mishawaka area, Dr. Benifiel has also …served as vice-president and program chairman of the Elkhart Dental Association, dental consultant for Meridian Nursing Center and Elkhart General Hospital and administrator for Homebound Dental Care. The doctor is a past faculty member of Indiana University, South Bend where he served as a clinical instructor in the School of Dental Hygiene.  Dr. Benifiel has served as vice-president and president of the Mishawaka Dental Society.  In his early years, Dr. Benifiel was a die-hard cyclist and has served as both Secretary and President of the Michiana Bicycle Association.  These days, Dr. Benifiel has become active in sailing and spends a great deal of his free time pursuing that interest.
Dr. Benifiel has a continuing commitment to excellence and regularly attends advanced continuing education courses in order to provide you with the latest advances in dental care. On July 22, 2000, Dr. Benifiel was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.  He is a Sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,  a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, North Central Dental Society, Mishawaka Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, St. Pius X Church, and the I.U. Alumni Association. Dr. Benifiel resides in Granger, Indiana with his wife Loraine and sons Blake, Chase, and Ethan.
