Dr. Bruce Wayne Bennett

Bad dr stares at computer and doesnt truly listen to his patients.

I've seen Dr Bennett for three years. He repeatedly refused to refer me for allergy testing, saying instead, "Open a window and look outside to see what's in bloom." He is completely unaware of treatments for migraines or headaches. He follows exactly what his computer program says, instead of researching conditions and medicine himself. He said several times, "The computer says this...," and, "I have to go by what the computer says." If the insurance company says I only need four pills a month, he defers to them, because they pay him. He doesn't care that I pay $15,000 a year for family health insurance and that I'm the customer, not them. I told him I will end up in a hospital once a month without the medicines I've been on for 15 years. He doesn't listen to me when I told him I've been researching my own migraines for 15 years, that I've been to neurologists, and an allergy specialist. I said I had allergy tests done on the west coast, that Flonase, Cingular, beta blockers,… anti-convulsion meds do not work, that I tried those six or seven years ago and had no results. He demanded that I take them and refused to write prescriptions for the only medicine that works for me. He also suggested that I go to Mexico if I need to buy my medicines. After that visit a few days ago I decided to fire him. Today his office called me to see how my visit was. I told Mr. Yankovich (I'm uncertain of the spelling) what I typed above. Mr. Yankovich was rude and nasty, saying I could go find a doctor that will write any prescription. I told him they were fired. Mr. Yanovich then said that he would write a letter telling me I was fired as a customer. Our conversation degraded from there, with Mr. Yankovich making all kinds of crude accusations about me, calling me a liar, and basically treating me like a turd.

I've been seeing Dr. Bennett for about 5 years. He is very professional, amiable, and spends the necessary time to explain procedures and treatment. Great doctor, great staff.

Dr. Bennett is not afraid to spend time with his patient and always offers alternatives. I would and have recommend Dr. Bennett
