I made an appt to have a mole check and to get help with nail fungus. He "glanced" at my back and said it looked "fine." No close examination. Said I didn't have nail fungus but I insisted they test for it. He rolled his eyes and took sample. I asked about some odd bumps on my temple, he said it was "nothing." I said "It's obviously SOMETHING because it is there." Guess what, nail fungus test came back as positive but it took them ages to get back to me. Went to another dermatologist and two moles on my back had to be removed. Bumps on my temple aren't NOTHING, in fact it is a fairly serious condition that could have led to a stroke or blindness! Fortunately, second dermatologist recognized the condition and referred me to a specialist.

I have been receiving dermatology services from Dr Grant Bishop for many years. Some while he was in Bountiful and more recent while he practices in St George. He has always been efficient and effective. Maybe more importantly, he has always been caring and very helpful, even to the point of making follow up calls regarding my treatment and progression. I have witnessed his concern for me beyond what would be expected from a highly trained and highly respected MD.
