Dr. Bornstein furthered his education with an internship at Harvard MedicalSchool, a residency at Harvard Medical School, Joint Center for RadiationTherapy and an M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hebrings extensive research experience to his partnership with patients andtheir families.
As a member of numerous professional associations such asthe American Society of Radiation Oncology, American Society of ClinicalOncology and the American College of Radiology, Dr. Bornstein has been atremendous resource teaching others during his past and present roles. Hehas served as the Deputy Division Chief and Director of the HyperthermiaProgram at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Division Joint Center forRadiation Therapy. He was also awarded a prestigious fellowship in theAmerican College of Radiology.
Dr. Bornstein's far reaching contributionsalso include numerous publications and he continues to serve as AssociateProfessor at UMass Medical School among other distinguished positions.Dr. Bornstein brings compassion and care to his patients and their familiesduring treatment. “I have been honored to care for people with cancer overthe past 30 years. My goal is to help them understand their disease processand all of the available treatment options. Together, we are then able toselect the treatment that best meets the patient’s needs and desires, withcareful attention to quality of life and minimizing side effects.”
