Dr. Bruce Ryan Brady, MD

I was very impressed that Dr Brady was able to get me in for an appointment so quickly after being referred by my GP. It's no wonder it was so easy to get in to him. When the MA first came and got me, he had me get on the scale, asked me how tall I was and then proceeded to tell me "No you're not, I don't believe you" I smirked and asked if he would like to measure me and he said yes. Sure enough, I was the exact height I had told him. We proceeded into the exam room where Dr Brady was sitting, facing his computer and did not even greet me with a simple "hello". The MA took all of my vitals and told me "the dr will be with you shortly". It was so awkward because the Dr was sitting 2 feet away from me! He then started off by asking me why I was there (could have read my file in the 7 minutes he was facing his computer). I told him everything and he just sat there, told me he was baffled and that it was NOT my thyroid- THE REASON I WAS REFERRED THERE! He based it off my TSH levels and I… may not be a dr. but I know for a fact that a specialist should be testing my t1, t2 and t3 levels. TSH is a cop out and doesn't even tell you anything about someone's thyroid. He then told me that it wasn't my thyroid because it was in the "normal reference range" which is .45 to 4.5 and I was at a 1. A ONE! That's not healthy for a 33 year old active female. So, since he was so baffled, he proceeded to prescribe me a "starter dosage" of thyroid medication which is 25mcg. He gave me 50mcg. Weird to give me double the starter dosage when it wasn't even my thryoid, don't you think. This was such a waste of my time, $65 and no answers. That was the whole point of my GP referring me to an endo. To dive into my health issues and help me figure out what was going with my body. He was awful. He reminded me of the villian off of despicable me. I have been taking my thyroid meds since receiving the prescription and I have definitely had more energy. I went to a new specialist 2 weeks ago... and whoa! They test ALL of my hormones, thyroid levels, everything that I thought Dr Brady would have done, you know, since that's his job. I went back this week for my follow up and lo and behold, IT IS MY THYROID! In addition to Hashimotos, extremely low testosterone (2 to be exact) and extremely low Vitamin D levels. My dr told me that if I had not been prescribed the thyroid medication, my condition could be worse. So thank you Dr Brady, for giving me this medication after I basically had to beg you since you were SOOOO baffled by my one blood test. I am so glad that I decided to take my business elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time and money. I will make sure to refer people far away from you.

Spends appt time looking at computer and ignores patient, does not give care needed and is rude.

As I read reviews posted and all I see are people that want a pill to make everything all better. I for one have Addisons. I've read extensively about Addison's and have communicated with Dr. Brady in depth about it and what I need to do to live a normal life. I feel my health is in my hands and the doctor is assisting me with a healthy normal life. Dr. Brady and I have discussed in depth what I can do to fill as normal as possible and find his counsel to be spot on! I have had no problem receiving communication from Dr. Brady or his staff, of course I may be a little more forward than most. I want to thank Dr. Brady for us so cheap in Michae I want to thank Dr. Brady for us help in achieving my goals.

Idiot!!! His office smelt terrible. He acts really confused about everything. Had no answers for me and never called me back with my blood work results.

worst doctor i have ever been too. i had to chase my own results and after 2 weeks call him. i called on a wedensday AM and was told he would call me back....two days later...on his day off...i get put on hold 2 times and then get a call back from the office manager...and he can't tell me anything that i did not know going into the visit. well worth the lack of effort by Dr. Brady...I guess that is why he is with a hospital so those patients can't kick him away as a their doctor.

Worse Dr. Every. Does not communicate with patients or other Dr s diagnosis with out properly ordering tests,failure to document properly with out client asking for records added after the fact.Stay away from this Dr in my experience. Does not work well with others. If you are reading this review keep looking for someone with better ratings. Better yet run.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC OR THE DOCTOR! Took well over a month to get my first initial appointment. Took forever to get lab results. They do not call you back in a timely manner. When speaking to a certain MD in this clinic is like talking to a wall. Trying to explain my symptoms and how crappy I felt, the MD didn't give any explanation at all to why I felt this way. I had to do my own research on my disease. NO HELP WHAT SO EVER!!

Feeling horrible beyond belief, went to get my blood drawn on a Friday still have not heard back the results and it's been 1 week!! All of this after waiting 1.75 hours in his office for him to see me.. Never going there AGAIN!!!!!! I can now see why it was so easy to get an appointment.

I went to Dr. Brady for a routine thyroid check. They said they would call me with the lab results and send me a prescription. After one week I hadn't heard anything so I called and left a message. 2 months and 4 phone calls later I finally got my results and prescription. I tried to negotiate my bill because of their lack of service and they refused. I would not recommend him to anyone.
