Dr. Bruce Steven Chozick, MD

Excellent. Dr. Chozik unlike other doctors is always easily accessible, very patient, compassionate, and skilled diagnostician. He takes all the time needed with patient, thoroughly discusses options and does not recommend surgery unless absolutely necessary, where other neurosurgeons don't seem to be interested unless they can do surgery. I highly recommend both Dr. Chozik and his staff, Michelle PA, Kathy MA, and Diane administrator who are always helpful and efficient.

I tecentky had lumbar spinal fusion surgery with Dr Chozick and I cant say enough good and positive comments about him. He always kept me well informed before and after surgery. And kept my husband informed as well. He is kind caring and devoted to his patients at all times. I would highly recommend Dr Chozick !!!!!

I had a laminectomy performed by Dr. Chozick almost ten years ago. Before the operation I was in regular extreme pain. Since the surgery I have been pain free with no recurrence. Dr. Chozick is a very caring and compassionate person and an excellent surgeon.

Dr. Chozick was very attentive before the surgery. He took time to go over the procedure with my wife and me. I had read all the reviews and felt confident that Dr Chozick would do a good job. Surgery day was a nightmare! I waited 5 hours after the scheduled time. I am diabetic and had not had anything to eat or drink since the night before. I was in very weakened shaky condition before surgery. I am assuming that the surgery went well. HOWEVER, I developed complications after the surgery. At this time Dr Chozick would not take the time to talk with me or my wife. I ended up spending 12 days in the hospital for a condition that my doctors said resulted from the trauma of the surgery. I guess as long as you don't have any questions or complications after the surgery that Dr Chozick would be OK.

Dr Chozik has been a patient so he is more understanding of the fears and concerns - be they real or not. He instills confidence in his patients that he will do all possible for their full recovery. And is PA is wonderful as well.

I had more than one surgery by Dr. Chozick. Excellent doctor! His PA was also an excellent caregiver.

I have been seeing him for 15 years. He knows his stuff. Would never change doctors.

Kind, knowledgable, I could see he enjoys his profession & very thoughtful towards his patients concerns.
