Dr. Bruce John Cochrane, MD

All he wants to do is give you medication and get rid of you. He has one foot out the door basically when he comes in the room. As a healthcare professional you need to listen and validate your patients, or find another job. Very bad experience. Thank goodness he is retiring!

He is too worried about giving out medications and getting rid of you. If you take over the counter medication and he doesn't know about it, he'll ask you, and then suddenly know about it and tell you not to take it. Then he sits there and has no consideration for your conditions and any progress you make. If I could rate a zero on here I would. If you are in the healthcare profession you need to listen and validate your patients, or find another job. Thank goodness he is retiring.

I felt like a name and a number. He did not listen to what I was saying. I'd give my symptoms, then he'd repeat them back to me, only he repeated back the OPPOSITE of what I was saying. Total waste of my time going to him. I would not go back to see him, and I would not recommend him to anyone.

I started seeing him as a college student, and he ended up delivering all 3 of my children. I still see him, now at age 58. I would honestly recommend him to anyone. He is very professional, as well as personable and caring. He asks about my entire family (briefly) when I have my yearly checkups. And now my son & wife will be having their first child, and they have chosen him as their baby's doctor. So, it has come full circle. I didn't know my son was picking him, but all of my kids liked him as their doctor also. His baby will be born this coming November, while he is in Iraq with the USMC, so he must really trust Dr. Cochrane with the care of his son.

I saw this doctor many years ago and quit seeing him because he obviously did not listen to what I was saying. Had to see him again because everyone else was full. I heard his entire visit with the woman in the room next to me. Then I heard him put in for his vacation time this summer. And when he he did come into the room I had to correct him on my first name 3 times. I was told my bronchitis would not be treated and wait to see if I got pneumonia. Well guess what I got pneumonia. I am still recovering and I am a very unhappy patient. I would not recommend him to anyone
