Dr. Bruce Paul Dorman, MD

I met Dr. Dorman today. It was my second time for myself with him. I had also been at his office with my husband in the past. I never had big health issues and my problems have been easy to solve. So believing is a good doctor after all, I can also say that, based on my experience, he is not a “people person” and he has been rude.

My wife and I were both in to see Dr. Dorman today for routine maintenance. We were very pleased with the the doctor and his staff. They were very prompt and friendly. We were happy with the service.

I went to see Dr. Dorman three times becase of a loss of hearing in my right ear. I have had this problem periodically since childhood and it is sinus related. I get a fluid build up in my ear when my allergies kick up. Dr. Dorman made a small hole in my ear drum to allow the fluid to drain out and he sucked most of the fluid out. I left with about 80% of my hearing restored. The drain plugged up and I went back to see him. I indicated to him that this was a problem that had occured before. He put a new drain tube in and sucked out the fluid once again, but the results were not as good as the first time. I reinforced my opinion that this was sinus related, since my nose was getting clogged up, too. By the next day I had lost my hearing again and I could feel the pressure in the right side of my head again. I made a third appointment to see him. He looked at my ear and poked around some and told me I needed to see about getting a hearing aid. I lost all of my hearing in that ear as the… sinus issue got worse. When I was young, and I had this problem, my mother would take my to see our Doctor who was a General Practitioner. He would insert a tube into my mouth and up into my eustation (spelling?) tube that runs from your throat to the backside of the ear canal. It allows the air pressure on both sides of your ear drum to be the same. It is the clogging of that cavity that causes my problem and my G.P. back in my childhood would flush it out with a warm saline solution. It would solve the problem in a few minutes. Dr, Dorman seemed to ignore what I was saying. I never went back to him again.

Very professional staff, no waiting. Dr. Dorman was very thorough and referred us to an exceptional allergist. Have been referring Dr. Dorman for years with only positive feedback.

Everything was excellent, no problems at all, Dr Dorman was the greatest !

He was extremely smug and rude and did not address my questions. I felt like he did not listen to me and blew me off. I did not trust him at all.

Was referred by another Dr to Dr Gorman for surgical consultation. He is extremely knowledgeable and since I have a health/business background I was very satified with his ability and demeanor
