Dr. Bruce Frederick Israel, MD

I saw Dr Israel three times after selecting him as my new primary care doctor after moving to Asheville from out of state. With each visit he appeared less engaged. I started having several symptoms including abdominal discomfort, elevated blood pressure for which he offered no insight. At third (final) visit he referred me to a surgeon to have tests to determine possible gall bladder or hernia. Before the tests were done, I happened to re-read the information enclosed with my monthly medication and realized what I was experiencing were many of the known side effects of the medication. I then called Dr. Israel twice and left messages with nursing staff re. the problem, requesting he call me. 4 weeks later he has neglected or chosen not to return my calls. Additionally, my prescription now needs to be approved by my primary care physician for further refills. I am now without primary care doctor, out of my monthly prescription and on my own, searching for a new primary care doctor… and dealing with possibly damaging side effects from my medication.

He was very nice and was very helpfully to me I had been in the hospital for 4 weeks he help me with ever thing I didn't understand f I could I would give him a 100 stars and the Dr of the year
