Dr. Bruce J Keller

Kaneohe Family Dental Care, Inc. was established in 1984 by the husband and wife team of Bruce Keller, D.D.S. and Cynthia Ichiriu Keller, D.D.S. Both Bruce and Cynthia are graduates of the Creighton University School of Dentistry, and are members of the Honolulu County Dental Society, Hawaii Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. They continually update their training with continuing education courses and seminars to keep current with new dental procedures and science.
Cynthia Ichiriu Keller received her undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She also earned a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration from UH Manoa. Dr. Ichiriu was listed in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” 2008, 2009, and 2010 Editions. Honolulu Magazine recognized Dr Ichiriu as one of Honolulu’s “Top Dentists” in 2009 and 2010.
Bruce J. Keller received his undergraduate degree from Creighton University and …completed a General Practice Residency program in Dentistry at Saint Francis Hospital in Honolulu. Dr. Keller served as a Grader for the Board of Dental Examiners for the State of Hawaii for 13 years and is active in the development of Patients’ Rights Legislation for Hawaii. Dr. Keller was listed in the Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Dentists” 2008, 2009, and 2010 Editions. Honolulu Magazine named Dr. Keller one of Honolulu’s “Top Dentists” in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Cynthia and Bruce have two children, Laura Jean and Mary, and are active members of the community. In their free time they enjoy classical music, travel, golf, hiking, UH Basketball, and their miniature dachshunds Schnitzle & Gretle.
About our logo
Years ago, so that the community would not have to rely solely on our individual names to identify us, and to give our practice a visual identity, we created an unusual logo with a slightly Hawaiian petroglyphic style. Deciding not to use the more typical designs one might associate with dentists, we passed on toothbrushes, smiles, molars, and floss. Instead, we chose a symbol that people would not expect. We also decided not to emphasize our own names. Keller & Keller is a name better suited for a law firm. What we came up with was a logo design that is unexpected, unmistakable, and definitely unique. Of course we are very proud that our patients feel the same way about our care. For over 25 years for each of our patients, we have provided exceptional dental care and service as unique as our logo. In that time, our dental practice, and its symbol, have become a Kaneohe institution. For the thousands of Windward residents we serve, our logo stands for quality, professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to our community and employees.
