Dr. Bruce J Kiessling, MD

Dr. kiessling has been my primary care physician for about 30 years. I give him high marks. He and his excellent nurse Michelle have helped me through several serious medical issues with excellent care and advice and follow up. They are personable and take time with me on my consultations. I've been going to Dr Kiessling for many years and find him quite frank and quite knowledgeable. He is direct and to the point and that might bother some especially if he tells you to lose some weight which is the root of most problems and in the process you may figure out your own problem. At least get back to your high school weight then go visit him and lose the extra from there. Remember he doesn't need you and if you didn't need him you wouldn't be there. He probably isn't telling you something you don't already know.

Dr. K encourages you to correct your bad habits as the first step toward health. The visit is never rushed and he seems willing to talk as long as you wish. Good approach

He used to be my primary care physician. After many visits over many years, I finally realized that I never got better after these visits. He is a minimalist type of doctor that prefers to have you go home and rest, rather than prescribe a medication. After seeing an alternate doctor in his practice, it was clear to me that much better care was available. I definitely do not recommend him to anyone. He is a very proud and ego-centric man who regards his patients and staff with contempt.
