Dr. Bruce Russell Marquez, MD

I just had a consultation with Dr Marquez and I found him to be condescending and antagonistic. He seemed to want to grill me and argue about every single thing I said, showing me absolutely zero common curtesy but instead contempt. This guy has anger issues, and perhaps worse. I’m not sure why he’s in the business of helping people. I’m also surprised he’s able to stay in business with that nasty demeanor.

Combative, condescending demeanor. Likes to argue, and gets downright rude if you don’t answer his questions to his liking. Seems to have no empathy, and treated me poorly during our consultation. I would not seek help from him again, nor did he seem to have any interest in helping.

I made a mistake by continually seeing no change , and not seeking treatment elsewhere,, 45 yrs experience did not help me ,, I recently moved on ,,, ( nice man)

Dr Marquez is very helpful and accommodating

I have attempted to schedule an appointment with this office 5 times. I have tried different times of the day, morning, mid-day and afternoon. All I get is an exchange who takes my number. NO ONE calls back. I will be sure to tell others about this experience. What a colossal waste of my time. This speaks volumes about the practice.

It is surprising he is in the field of mental health because this doctor was not professional or caring. He is quick to diagnose what seems his standard diagnosis & pills (depression - Wellbutrin) without taking anytime to get an appropriate history or background. In his arrogance he flippantly dismisses comprehensive work of other qualified professionals with his own quackery. Strongly recommend staying away.
