Dr. Bruce E Ollins

Dr. Bruce Ollins was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from City University of New York with a BA in biology. He attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania and received his doctor of dental medicine in 1976. After dental school Dr. Ollins did a one-year residency at the Veterans Hospital of NY in hospital dentistry. Orthodontic specialty training took Dr. Ollins to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in which he received his certificate in 1979.
Dr. Ollins opened his office in Nutley in August of 1979 and as practiced in the same location for over 29 years. His main passion is the practice of orthodontics and the treatment of his patients. In his spare time he enjoys running and has completed 13 full marathons (26.2 miles) including the NYC marathon.
Dr. Ollins resides in Livingston, NJ, with his wife, June, who is a special education teacher. He has two adult children, Marisa and Gabriel. Marisa is the Associate Director of Public …Relations for Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and Seventeen magazines. In June of 2007, Gabe completed his orthodontic residency program at the University of Maryland and joined our practice.
Dr. Ollins is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
