Was supposed to be top notch for mesh problems lol. Makes you see a psychiatrist before and after as it's in you mind! Made Tiger mesh his own brand! Saw a dude on YouTube that uses a walker in his 20s from the outcome and it's sad. He stuck up for mesh that it hurts patients then no no it's all in our heads lol. So then quit altogether as you should as is wife books you with lies! Be glad he's gone everyone that needs help!

Dr. Ramshaw is the best surgeon that has ever operated on me and I have had several. Things to remember and consider when considering mesh removal, what is your pain level prior to your surgery. For me it was excruciating pain because my mesh devices (2) of them had turned to a concrete type of substance and was tearing my insides apart. The mesh adhered to my organs,nerves,and body tissues. I had mine removed in 2017. Dr. Ramshaw and his assistant went out of their way to bring me a antiemetic to my motel room at 9:30 pm to stop my nausea. This is usually called in to a pharmacy for pickup. This makes it hard for me to understand 1 star terrible reviews. If your pain level is not real bad do not have this surgery, for monetary reasons or because you saw a TV commercial by some law firm stating how bad mesh is for you. For some mesh is not a problem, mine started having reactions as soon as it was put in. I stated about pain levels above because you could end up with more pain after… removal surgery if your pain was low or non existent prior to a removal. I will not lie to you, most likely you will have some pain after such a invasive surgery, but the key for me is that I feel better after my removal than before. Am I pain free ? Heck no, but I have pain from all my surgeries also in one form or another. Nothing is ever the same after being surgically repaired. He is a great surgeon but let’s not forget he is a human and all he can do is his very best, and for me and my circumstances he was a God send.

I'm suspect of the 1 star reviews because I can say, without question, that Dr. Ramshaw is highly competent and one of the most personable doctors you'll ever meet. Patient and thorough. Sorry to those who didn't improve, but pain is subjective and doctors, to some degree, need to take the patients complaints at face value. Lots of variables, and we all respond differently. Personally, my mesh removal stopped inflammation and rashes caused by immune response. Pain has subsided and I only occasionally get a twinge in the area. I hope he doesn't retire...he's a specialists specialist and is needed by patients in a field that has few.

Don't waste your time on this guy, find a surgeon that isn't so full of himself. I wanted to knock him out, he has no idea what you are going through and doesn't care. Do your research and find another surgeon. Dr. Eduardo Parra Davilla, celebration florida. Hands down the best surgeon in the world. I am running around today because of Dr. Parra Davilla. Bruce Ramshaw has some serious issues in his practice. Stay clear of his games, the pain is not in your head, it is real and can be fixed, Don't listen to Ramshaw run the other way.

mesh removal is not the answer. far worse than i ever was.

I Had mesh placed into my left inguinal area two years ago and was not told by the surgeon until I went back two weeks later. The pain was so bad I had a hard time standing and could not work without leaning over a chair. I saw the doctors partner, who told me “ some people have to live with pain”. So I began to look for help. I interviewed 3 doctors, one said he would split me down the middle because all mesh needed to be removed, the other was okay, and the third was dr Bruce Ramshaw at UT. After removal of the mesh I am going back to work two weeks later . I feel great so far and I hope you decide to live without pain. Dr Ramshaw and his team were great, I have never wrote a review for a doctor and believe me he is worth the visit. I give him all the stars in the universe, if I could.

Performed surgery and put me in terrible pain for the rest of my life.

Out of all the mesh removal surgeons he is the most honest and realistic and best surgeon there is.

He has given me my life back - removing my abdominal mesh was the best decision, ever.

You couldn't have asked for a better doctor and staff. Dr Ramshaw is the real deal. I drove 7 hours from where i live in Georgia to have him exam me. He sat there and listen to me while i explained the last 5 years of my life trying to figure out what was going on in side of me. He even let my wife and daughter come in and explain to them what he told me, which was that i have a hernia mesh issue. He really cares able his patients. Also his staff is awesome . You can call or email them with a question or problem, and they will get back with you in a reasonable amount of time.
