Dr. Bruce Jeffrey Rogers, MD

Condescending attitude. Answered a question by contemptously reminding me that HE had been to medical school (and had I been to medical school? NO.) so HE somehow deserved my blind trust re: his absolute suthority over all treatment decisions. Really, really, just shockingly insulting.

I recently found Dr. Rogers through Google when I was in need of a new Endocrinologist for my Diabetes type 1. Doctor Rogers is an amazing doctor. He educated me with my Diabetes and also addressed and promptly came up with solutions with some of my health issues. The staff was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I intend on being a patient with Doctor Rogers for a very long time.

Nice guy, good doctor. I simply wish I could actually talk to him when I call with an issue, as opposed to having to have a receptionist pass info back and forth. She is very nice, but I feel that she's not very knowledgeable in what I'm asking

Stay away from this office if you want a caring doctor...this one seems to be in it for the money....not in it for YOUR best interest

I went to Dr. Rogers a few years ago. He was automating his system with an eletronic dictation system. He was more interested in that than diagnosing me and all he wanted to do was put me on a diuretic when I was there to get an accuate thyroid replacement hormone dosage. He *is* a bit brusque...very intelligent, but I think being a Dr is also about listening to your patient and utilizing science and patient feedback to appropriately treat your patients. I decided not to return to him. He was a bit arrogant. : \

I am sure the doctors are excellent, I was referred and was given a cancellation spot the next day, but on my first visit I left my wallet at home by accident obviously. I had my DL in the car, but I was refused my appt. I was told I was "reminded to bring the card, etc." on my appt confirmation call. Well no I did not becaseu I did not get confirmation call since the appt was set the day before. But so what...it is called problem solving and customer service. Not scolding and punishment. I do not frequent doctors and do not typically carry the insurance card and carry only an Amex and DL. Amex is not something this office takes which has happened in the past I call in the visa. Right after another Drs office that I called to make a payment today explained I they could have called and gotten the insurance number or at least suggested I call my doctor for the number while I was there. Simple solution. That is customer service, but no instead the office manager turned me… away. I do not spend my time running to doctors so I'm not practiced nor a women who carries her life in a bag. With UF BCBS insurance the last 3 years I have never made the deductible. Lucky me. This office...without the dr referral wanted me to drive in to the office just to fill out the paperwork before they would schedule an appt. So to save time and gas I had my Dr. send the paperwork. Gainesville in general has been the most difficult place to get appts or medical information. Maybe I've just had some good doctors and offices in my other towns, but I'm going to another city from now on for anything medical where patients/customers are treated better. I do think Dr. Rogers would have been a great Doctor.

He has a great bedside manner. He truly listens to what you tell him. He makes you feel at ease. But most of all, you see results.

I have seen Dr. Rogers for about 10 years now. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a thyroid or diabetes condition. After seeing Dr. Rogers, it's difficult to find a family doctor who measures up to him. I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes, and his office staff are wonderful.

Getting an appointment with Dr. Rogers was quick and when I arrived I was seen in about 10 minutes, directly after completing forms (5 minutes). Dr. Rogers was thorough, listened to my concerns, was not hesitant to advise if he was not certain about something...very respectful of what I had to say. I would recommend him unconditionally!

a bit brusque, but clinically very knowledgeable and up to date. Staff could use the Dale Carnegie course. I trust him.
