Dr. Bruce Stephen Rothschild, MD

My absolute favorite doctor. Have been with him for many years. He figured out the best combo of meds for me and I’ve been growing happier and happier ever since. I owe my positive outlook to his expertise and service. Thank you, Dr. Rothschild!

This doctor is the absolute stereotype psychiatrist who does not care about the patient; rather more do on the money he can make. He is about as approachable as a porcupine. He has a very high opinion of himself and cannot relate to patients because he’s so narcissistic. He is the reason psychiatry is junk science. No way to scientifically diagnose any psychiatric label he can is so very quick to give. Don’t ask him to explain side effects of the medication. He isn’t interested in those, so he changes topic. Horrible doctor! Hippocrates would hate him.

Dr. Rothschild has saved my life more than one time. His patience and knowledge of neurology and psychology are incredible. I had to see neurologists and get brain MRI's and Dr. Rothschild was able to get me a diagnosis when no one else could. I've been his patient for 14 years and pray he will never retire. He is one of the few doctors I truly trust and he has my highest esteem and gratitude. - A.E.

I have always felt that Dr. Rothschild is respectful and compassionate and that my input is always a part Dr. Rothschild's treatment decisions. Dr. Rothschild has always been available within hours by phone when I have been in crisis.

Have seen Dr Rothschild over 15 years for meds - those meds were always right. When I didn’t need them, he just knew it; I could never figure out just how he knew it. Anyway I am very thankful he has helped me out many years now.

Motivated by money not by helping patients get better or stabalized. He shamelessly pushes the latest brand drugs and does not follow up with patient concerns. Lacks professionalism.

Dr. Rothschild was referred to me by my PCP. He is not familial at all; rather, he seems quite distant, even with dialogue and eye contact. He really is not good at engaging, which is, in my opinion, quite important for this type of physician. He rushes through appointments and never allows the patient to feel at ease. He will basically kick you out when your "time" is up. Never a call to inquire on well-being at random between long term appointments, which are necessary due to his limited schedule. Poor bedside manner. Pushes Rx medications, never gives samples.

Very astute, good at assessment and problem solving. Could be a little more warm and fuzzy. He is very respectful and kind, however.
