Dr. Bruce D Schulman

Dr. Schulman is an excellent dentist. Just had a root canal and he told me step by step of what he was doing. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this dentist.

I had an apico to clear an infection, it came back. Dr Schulman had to redo an old root canal, I was told he would fix my tooth at no extra charge. my crown fell off immediately, I was told it was in good shape and my dentist may be able to reuse it. ROOT CANAL IS DONE - NO ISSUES. I was given my crown & told to wait 2-3 weeks and have crown replaced. I went to my dentist only to be told my tooth was NOT PREPARED for a crown and had to have it pulled. I should have been told if there was a problem with the tooth, but instead the office told me he did me a favor, and that's why they call it a dental PRACTICE and wished me luck on future procedures. Why would he leave me in that shape and not tell me he had a problem, when he knew I needed a crown?

Although Dr. Schulman is a great dentist, his front desk staff misled me into believing that they accepted my husbands insurance. We were told that due to the insurance company being a slow payer we would have to pay up front and be reimbursed by insurance. Only after having our claim denied by insurance did the office tell us that they didn't accept our HMO plan, after I clearly told them what plan we had and gave them the insurance card. Very disappointed to say the least. We will be going to an office who is up front about our benefits from now on.

I recently visited Dr. Schulman after being in such intense pain and needing to see an endodontist. They called me first thing monday morning after an excruciatingly painful weekend. I was able to get an early appointment. I did wait for a while, but when I found out the reason I was completely forgiving of it. The previous patient came in late and Dr. Schulman is the type of doctor that doesn't turn people away. I didn't mind waiting. When I went in the assistant/nurse was the most compassionate, patient, caring person! She took her time was completely understanding of my pain and did a wonderful job taking care of me. I couldn't leave the office without thanking her with a big hug. When I met Dr. Schulman I found him to be extremely thorough, honest, straight to the point, caring, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable! I had x-rays that didn't show the problem, so he gave me a CT Scan done right in his office. The mystery problem was solved giving me a diagnosis of a nasty… infection spreading to all of my sinuses. He gave me my options and gave his unbiased opinion. He was not pushy in any way shape or form as to what I should do. He sat there at eye level with me and was extremely patient in answering all of my questions! It is apparent he knows his specialty and is great at it! Unfortunately, I have decided to have the infected tooth pulled so he will not be doing my procedure, but if I ever need anything done in the future I am not hesitating going to see Dr. Schulman!
