Dr. Bruce Stocker Senter, MD

Years ago I was undergoing a lot of lower back pain with lower extremities pain caused from the sciatica. I was referred to Dr Senter by my Primary Care Physician. I absolutely loved his treatment, mannerisms, caring, attention to details, and explaining everything. I hated that I ended up moving away awhile later to find out awhile ago he left back to New Orleans. I would 100% recommend him to anyone that seems a good orthopedic that knows what he's doing. And, now that I'm thinking of moving back I wish he was still there but he's in New Orleans still.

I first saw Dr. Senter as a work-in and was able to see him immediately. He looked at my MRI and verified I had a herniated disc. He performed a diagnostic joint block of my sacroiliac joint during this visit and verified I also had SIJD. He sent me for PT for 6 weeks, then scheduled me for a nerve block, all of which was successful. Unlike what I've read from several people on here, he said surgery would be a last resort. I was very pleased with Dr. Senter and was sorry to see him leave Corinth, MS.

No bedside manner. Very arrogant. Spends maybe 5 minutes with you and explains nothing. Beyond rude in manners.

worst doctor ever been too in and out of office as if going to a fire did not let my husband explain was too eager to do surgeries and husband in woese shape than before another surgeon in another shape said husband would be crippled in future he had never seen a so called surgeon as dr senter leave anyone in the shape he left my husband money was all had on mind said he could go back to heavy labor work yet he can hardly get around stay clear of this man

Had 2 office visited he was in and out....seem to know his information well, but if you don't ask questions he really just don't explain in a non medical term where you can understand. It's like he told me what's going on and i was like okay explain / break it down to me....Seem to be a good Dr. He has did my surgery yet but I will update for as how surgery went.

I was a workers compensation patient. I went to Dr. Senter in good faith; however, the visit was not. I was told I had the best back he had ever seen and he wish he had a back like mine. Told me he did not see any bulging disk after he sent me to MS Spine Clinic for a MRI; however, I had already had a MRI and was told I did. I had bronchitis and he sent me to have blood drawn and referred me to my PCM to check for R. Arthritis. The very next day I was sent to a RA specialist who told me that I did not have RA and any first year med student should know if a person has bronchitis they will have high rates and took a look at my MRI and said your back is hurting because you have a bulging disk and you can see it on the MRI (see). I was told to return back to my Primary WC doc for care. It is alarming at the results you get when you are a worker's compensation patient.

This Dr. rushes through his patients to quickly, he does not have time to really listen to the patients complaints, diagnosis also was not accurate.

I wish I would have gone with the uneasy feeling I had about Dr. Senter. He and "Lu" are so nice before surgery. I had a huge surgery with a very long recovery time. I hurt terribly in hospital, and I hurt worse after getting home. I have been treated like a pain/muscle relaxer addict. They have became the most unconcerned people. He also has no bedside manners. I'm not a big person and I'm not skinny/boney..he made a very rude remark about my weight. Please read reviews.

I have had permanent complications from my surgery that have been life altering. It has been a nightmare.

All i can say is at the beginning Iiked Dr. Senter, but now I don't seem to care anymore. Reason why I don't care for him anymore cause I when I call in for medicine refills both him and his nurse have accused me to be a pill popper. Plus I called one day and they said they would send me a refill, and that it would be put in the mail the next day. So I waited on to get my refill in mail on Saturday and it never came in. Very disopointed in him. It's like he likes for a patient to suffer with pain. I'm at the point of finding a doctor that cares about his patients and their pain.
