Dr. Bruce Alan Snider, MD

I will never forget or forgive the poor treatment subjected to me by Dr. Snider. Doesn’t explain conditions, had me repeat family history at every appointment (and I saw him for two years). Fired me because I missed my appointment (which I called to cancel because my dad was actively dying and passed away later that afternoon). He banned me from seeing my therapist after my suicide attempt, which is when I needed her the most. Cruel and inattentive, and his ineptitude greatly contributed to my lack of understanding to the mental health conditions that I have, and added to a distrust of mental health practitioners that made me reluctant to seek help in the future (why would I, in my experience, they don’t help, they hurt). I have lost years of my life due to this. If you can, see a female doctor or nurse practitioner. They will be more likely to listen and empathize with you, and will more likely do it with kindness.

Ive been seeing Dr Snider for around 6 yrs now and just love him to death. So caring, compassionate, funny, so understanding, helps me when my health is off and cant get to him, listens which is so important, and such a Blessing.

This doctor does not truly care about any of his patients. I thought he did for a while however randomly two years later after seeing him 6 times per year, he cut me off of medication that he prescribed me 60 tablets of our of nowhere. He literally left me out to dry. No warning. No talk beforehand. Nothing. Nada. Nothing happened. Now... the risks of being on the dosage and length of time of this particular narcotic will put me, a mother of two small girls at a high risk of seizure. Very very scary and let’s just say to put a known anxiety disorder and PTSD patient in this position should be considered malpractice.

My name is Bill Hanson I have I have a appointment late next month with a psychiatrist but it is really hard to go somewhere else I fell eally comfortable in your office I know you have a lot of patience I believe the Lord has a reason for everything so it could be a good thing but if you ever have the time I would love to be your patient I just feel safer in your office I read you do a lot of Psychiatry work and I know you're really busy but if you ever read this if you ever have an opening keep me in mind I'm a good guy and I think you could help me I do understand you are so booked I was just saying if ever you have an opening please keep me in mind I know I only had Medicaid but I have a little money 2 pay that's how much I don't want to leave your office it really freaks me out having to go somewhere else but I can say it was the best thing I ever did when I made the decision to see a psychiatrist thank you Dr Snyder and if you ever get an opening before the 27th or 28th of next… month I would be there I was just starting to open up now I feel like I got to start all over it's hard it's making me have anxiety you probably don't know my my fiance sleeps a lot because she has cancer and I do a lot of thinking I believe if we had one appointment together you could help me but like I said I believe the Lord has a reason for everything so if we never have an opening I do understand

My name is Bill Hansen and I know it is hard to seek help and talk to people about your life but the longer you wait the worse it gets I felt like I was literally going crazy my mind will not stop racing my panic attacks was getting more and more frequent I couldn't sleep I would lay in bed and my mind would go on and on and on so I went to dr. Bruce Schneider's office this was my first time ever talking to a psychiatrist and after my second visit I felt comfortable enough to open up and talk about my life something I haven'to only did with my fiance and it felt like a ton of bricks lifted off my shoulders I literally felt like I was going crazy the staff at dr. Bruce Snyder's office is so understandable I would call all the time needing to talk to a psychiatrist sometimes it was little stuff sometimes it was Big Stuff but it all felt big to me I felt like I was getting on the staffs nerves but they were so understandable they was nice and every time a psychiatrist called me back the… same day I have a lot going on in my life and I had a pretty tough life and I know a lot of people have had a tough life 2 but when you feel like you can open up to somebody and talk to them it makes a big difference I appreciate everything that the psychiatrist and the staff did for me and how understandable they was I know a lot of people out there are going through a lot of problems and a lot of people was probably like I was holding everything in but after you can get the courage to talk to somebody it can make a big difference in your life in the people's lives around you I would like to thank everybody at dr. Bruce Snyder's office office for putting me on the path to get the help I need thank you for everything you did for me and I will continue to work all the coping skills that you guys have gave me thank you again

Dr. Snider is a very attentive and compassionate doctor.

This was his comment to me when I pointed out that he kept repeating the same questions to me over and over. He said his mind was in left field. He was 45 min late for my appt time. He was not empathetic and didn't show any signs of caring about me or his practice.

This doctor is insane. He has no business working with patients. He is dangerous to all those seeking help. I just had my third visit with him that left me thinking this doctor is in worse health than me. During the visit, I felt more capable and knowledable to the reasons why I was there than him. He asked me the same questions multiple times, like 6 times in a 30 minute visit, treated me from another patients file, couldn't answer or provide simple direction on the condition we were discussing and then becomes very haughty and rude and refers you out to another physician when his incompetency surfaces. Don't take your visit personally with this doctor, move on.

Staff are idiots so is he. If you call and miss an apartment he gives you a letter of noncompliant. He's a money lover. Said he hated people in a session.

I had one visit with Dr Snider and I wanted to run out of his office. He wanted me to come to his church and pray. He spent more time talking about himself than he talked with me. He would do well to curb his ego and listen. Also, he should never be pushing his religion on his patients.
