Dr. Bruce Todd Thompson, MD

I saw him at American Family Care in Decatur, Alabama. My husband had RSV and I though that's what I had. He listened to me and asked was it ok to does some bloodwork. The bloodwork came back positive for walking pneumonia. He was very thorough and had amazing bedside manner. If he lived closer to me, he would definitely be my family doctor! He was amazing!!

Very rude , aloof, and uncaring physician. Appeared to be more interested in his cell phone.

First time meeting Dr. Thompson and it was a pleasure...Very impressed with the time he spent with me..We actually talked about things to do to improve our health...I have finally found someone that I most like will become my primary physician which I have not had in a long time...4 Stars!! Front desk and person taking my blood were also excellent...Good day at the Dr's office..Thanks

Best Dr ever! It is totally evedient that he has found his calling. Words can not express how much it ment to have such a kind compassionate and patient dr. caring for my child. so many drs act as if their job is just that, a job only but Dr. Thompson seems to love what he does & he goes above and beyond!

While Dr. Thompson is personally excellent as a physician, the Physicians Care business model sucks. The phone staff were rude and vague when my wife called with followup concerns. She addressed no concerns about health and medication needs. The doctors appear to be circuit riders travelling between clinics so you do not know who you are going to see when you go in to the clinic in your area.

This Dr. will tell you like it is, even if it hurts your feelings! However, I respect him for that. He pulls no punches, but in the end if you are in trouble healthwise, he's got your back! If for some reason you are trying to pull the wool over his eyes to get narcotics, don't waste your time as he will see right through you!

Definetly the most the most caring, knowledgable, and professional physician I have ever encountered
