Dr. Bruce Samuel Worrell

New owner Dr. Prassad is wonderful. I had him before the switch in ownership, and just recently as a patient of the new( old) office. Very attentive, caring and gentle. Happy with the change.

I've been a patient of Dr. Worrell's for 3 years with awesome results (took about 9 months to get it all straight once I got started). He's actually a good doctor that had an illness (much like alcoholism is an illness) and unfortunately, ran afoul of federal laws while trying to put food on the table. That said, the practice has been purchased and is continuing under the name Shri Vitality through a doc named Prasad. I saw him during my last visit almost 4 months ago. He seemed very intelligent and was extremely gentle during the procedure. I'm so glad the center is no longer closed and I wish Dr. Worrell and his wife well.

First of all, I've been a patient of the Center for Optimal Vitality for about a year. Yes, I knew of Dr. Worrell's past, but unlike many I chose to actually read all the documents before I started my therapy. I also based my opinion on recommendations from two other patients - not the internet. I am not saying that Dr. Worrell was a saint, but he had a drug addiction for which he took responsibility. He accepted his punishment. Part of the punishment was that he could no longer to treat Medicare/Medicaid patients - that's got him into trouble again. That being said, I cannot express the difference I feel since I've been a patient. I've lost about 10% of my body weight. I've gained muscle mass and I have a great deal more energy. I fit in clothes that I thought I'd never wear again. I believe that this therapy was the right thing for me and I thank the staff at the Center for their attention to my needs. As of today, they're apparently out of business. Whether or not… it's permanent, time will tell. But they did not have another physician cover for them, nor have they made arrangements for current patients who need prescriptions filled. This is totally unprofessional and unethical. I feel bad for the patients that did not see results, the ones who are currently under care, and for the staff - they seemed like very nice people.
