Dr. Bruce Barton Wright, DDS

Dr Bruce Wright was born in Smyrna, DE. He received his BS Degree from Washington College in Chestertown, MD. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and was drafted in the US Public Health Service as an Assistant Dental Surgeon. He served two years as a Lt Commander in a hospital in Detroit MI. In 1968 he and his wife Patricia moved to Rehoboth Beach and opened his dental office as a sole practitioner...
Dr Wright  is a Past President of the Delaware State Dental Society, a former Delegate to the American Dental Association, and holds honorary memberships in the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fouchard Academy. Dr Wright was elected by the faculty of Temple to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental national honor society, in his senior year.
In 1975 Dr Thomas Conley  joined Dr Wright in his Rehoboth Beach practice as an independent practitioner. In 1985 they established Maplewood Dental Associates on Route 24. In 2003 Dr …Steven Wright, Dr Bruce Wrights’ son joined the practice.
Dr Wright enjoys all phases of dentistry. He has a special interest in placing and restoring dental implants ,oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and fixed and removable tooth replacements.
Dr Wright is an avid sailor and waterfowl hunter. He also enjoys buying and renovating old properties. He has two daughters and one son and five grandchildren.
