Dr. Bruce William Young, MD

He was the worst doctor I have had - very unprofessional and judgemental. I had bladder problems for years which it was discovered (as I first questioned) was related to a hormonal issue. I am very happy to share after several years I am grateful to a provider who listened and did not judge... Please don't waste your time or your sanity on this man.

He is a very kind and caring Doctor. It was very easy talking to him about anything, kind of like a good friend.

I saw some others had similar visits. I am still in dismay that I also can't give him zeros for ratings. He treated me like a drug seeking addict. I was in tears for a long time. When I tried to speak up to explain something he told me to stop talking, he told me to stop and that he wasn't finished. I tried to tell him I was unhappy (first step is to speak to him), but he didn't say one word like, "I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot." I think the clinic is normally nicer, wondered if they didn't like working with him, but that is only a guess. Ratingâ?¦follow up after visit? Got to be joking!

I was told to see this man. He insulted me the first time he opened his mouth, continued to attack my reputation, accused me to going to "doctors all over the place", all the medications I take are worthless except for one, that he went to a seminar and Vitamin D (and other vitamins, etc. are useless), until I finally stood up and said I was shocked at how disrespectful he was to me, that I couldn't believe the assumptions he made about me without getting to know my case, that I have never been treated as badly as he did and a couple more things. I treat patients with addictions and chronic pain and illnessesâ?¦it turns out, "Doctor" Young, that had you taken some labs, I am critically low on iron and hemoglobin and that there is a medical necessity going on and you only accused me of going to doctors to get meds. To you, I just say, please do no more harm to any patients. You have some ax to grindâ?¦go grind it in your own yard.

Dr. Young was VERY professional. He exhibited great patience with me (and my many questions). If I could, I would rate my (single) encounter with him more than the 4 stars allowed! (And his nurse, Kristin, was just as nice as he was!) As for the accuracy of the diagnosis, that's not for me to say. And no follow-up is required of him in my situation (to explain the 'no star' ratings there).

Based on my expereance as a nurse, Dr. Young is an excelent doctor. He is plesent, answere questions in lay terms, follows up on his patients, and is accurate in diagnoses

Bruce Young is one of the only doctors I've met that spends time really talking with you as the patient. He relates well and ensures that you understand. He is very thorough in answering questions. I would recommend him to anyone interested in finding a reliable, caring, well-rounded general family physician.

Dr. Bruce Young is very unprofessional, when talking with patient. Call you up at your home in the evening after business hours to tell you. His over the Allina Clinic in Brooklyn Park, MN and tell you not to bother ever coming back to the clinic. because no one (Doctors) at his clinic could help you. I said why not? You, have too many other Doctors. I said Dr. Young I have only four other Doctor's, that are Specialist. Dr. Young Why? Are you calling me? You are not my Doctor. "OH" I'm calling for Dr. Julie Dejong! Why? Didnt she call or send me a letter, I wasnt aware of any problem; between us. Dr. Young said there's not! you just have to many doctors. Far as I'm concern I would not want to put my care in there hands (Bogus discriminating) ever again. If there acting out like this, very unprofessional they desire each other. And I desire better care.Did I fail to mention the Allina Medical Clinic is only a block away I started being a patient in 2009 when the clinic first open up in… our neighborhood over a year ago. Before that; I was a patient at Allina Medical before they where called Allina Medical for over 33 years. Ive seen Doctors come and go never this kind of behavior.On my way home when I drive by there I just turn my head. It makes my stomach sick, just knowing the two Doctors are in there.

Dr Young takes the time to explain things and ensures the patient understands their condition. Excellent bedside manner and patient follow-up!
