Dr. Bruk Patrick Weymouth, DDS

Both my wife and I really liked Dr. Weymouth. His work and advice was excellent. Very friendly and efficient staff. Regrettably our insurance company was with a different network and we had to change dentists. We would have stayed here as we feel he is a great dentist with a great staff.

My reviews are based on my own personal experiences with Mr. Weymouth. He has a great staff but he himself isn't anything like his staff. Great training the staff recieved and I think that he could learn from his staff. He communicated in a happy and refreshing tone and manner with other patients I assumed he established a doctor patient relationship with but with me I didn't get the same treatment. He spoke to me in a condescending way with a dry yet firm and rude tone about the work I needed done. Instead of me leaving his office feeling like I found a great dentist that made me feel welcomed and safe and like I could depend on him to treat me properly and at the same time be understanding of my finances and delays that appear in life, I left with low spirits. I was unable to make an appointment as fast as he would've liked due to personal finances but as soon as I had the available funds I scheduled an appointment to began treatment quickly. I went in excited, the staff made me… feel hopeful and I was ready. As I lay in the dental seat I could hear Mr. Weymouth across the hall laughing and chatting with other patients which gave me a sense of calm. When he got to me I recieved a dry hello followed by a you made it back I see and then followed by a lets get started. My eagerness dropped. His energy had changed when he started his work on me. He picked up his energy as he conversated across my face with his assistant. The assistant asked from time to time if I were ok but the dentist himself did not. When it was over he announced he was finished and his assistant will talk to me and make my next appointment. I was in pain and called but he didnt return my call till the late hours. Going against my better judgement I kept going back and had the same experience. The last time was when I called in pain and could be seen first because my insurance wouldn't began the next coverage for a few more months. After I told the receptionist that was fine and I still wanted to come in she then told me he was on vacation and that another dentist was there but doesn't treat patients. She recommended that I go to a dentist that take emergency visits and she gave me the number for Elkin Family Dental. I was seen immediately and given antibiotics. Dr. Chad claimed that the pain from a filled tooth done by Weymouth was drilled to deep to the nerves and that I now needed an extraction and he referred me to Dr. Bruggmen. I was shocked at his findings so decided to ask Chads office if I could be their patient and they said yes. Meanwhile Weymouth nor his office ever called me to check on me after I was unable to reach Weymouth. I filed a claim just to report the findings from Elkns Dental and to my surprise Dr. Chad lied about what he verbally told me about Weymouths work on my filled tooth. I'm guessing they must be great pals. I would never plan to be a patient to a new Dr. if I'm planning to make false accusations against him. I was hurt that Chad had lied during my insurance claim investigation. After five months I received a letter from Weymouth talking about how important his reputation is to him and how he was releasing me as his patient even after I had already left his office. I guess the letter was another way to save his reputation. I now have more fear of going to a dentist and I wouldn't recommend anyone having Bruk Weymouth as their dentist due to his lack of care, concern and nonchalant attitude. I wouldn't recommend Chad at Elkins dental due to his dishonesty. These are my views and everyone will have a different experience. All I can say is do research and be cautious of who you select to treat you. Good luck.
