Dr. Bruno Aldo Perossa, MD

My 14 year old son started following with Dr. Perossa after an inpatient hospital stay. We were desperately trying to find an outpatient child psychiatrist to manage a complex case of bipolar and ADHD and were thrilled to have found Dr. Perossa through the grapevine of strong referrals in the Twin Cities who got my child in expeditiously. Our son has been doing incredibly well this last year of middle school in large part to his care as he is kindly responsive to our son's needs. My husband and I are very grateful to have established care with him after hearing about him in the Twin Cities.

Dr Perossa spent the time necessary to understand my son and hear our concerns. We never felt rushed and he was compassionately direct with us and our son. There aren’t many providers around willing to take the time to be so detailed in their approach to care.

My daughter had been to several psychiatrists and struggled to open up to really get to the heart of the issue as my daughter struggles with significant anxiety, depression and trauma. Dr P was able to impressively connect with her in a way I had never seen another doctor connect. We got to the central issues while she was on the child psych ward and have been working through them in family therapy now. The road is challenging with mental health but it’s because of Dr P that we all have a better understanding of what’s going on and how to work through our daughter’s mental health struggles.
