have been his patient for 20 years love him he is the BEST

I am the Group Administrator for my employer's group health insurance. I enroll employees and in many cases have assigned Dr. Baines to those employees who do not currently have a PCP. One of my employees has been enrolled in our group health insurance for more than two months now, but for an unknown reason has not yet received his health insurance card. TPMG REFUSED TO SEE HIM TODAY BECAUSE HE DOES NOT HAVE A CARD IN HIS POSSESSION!!! The office staff there has stated this 'rule' is part of the doctors' protocol, and that all six (6) doctors have agreed to this "protocol". They were very rude to my employee, and when I began questioning this rule, the receptionist began speaking to me in a very patronizing tone. As the group administrator, I offered to have Anthem send documentation directly to their office showing evidence of active coverage, and they STILL refused to accept that - the employee MUST have a CARD in his possession!?!?! This office is the most RIDICULOUS doctor's… office I have ever dealt with! ANYONE can walk in with a health insurance card in their possession! Just because they carry the card does NOT mean they are covered!!!! DUH!!!!!!

Doctor Baines has been my doctor for many years and I really like him.
