Doctor is excellent. Makes sure to take enough time with you each visit. Tells you what you need to do and if you listen your doing well. Kevin is wonderful. Office staff have gotten better.

receptionist are so rude, disrespectful, never smile to greet patient, FYI without us patient they dont have a paycheck, please retrained your receptionist to be pleasant to the patients.

Dr Ferroni is an excellent Doctor. Staff is excellent. He is very thorough. He diagnoses and lays out all options you have.

The staff is the worst people i have ever had to deal with. He should fired all of them and get more respectful people who know how to treat sick patients. Wouldn't recommend him to my friends are family with the staff he has now.very disrespectful. Now I have to get a better doctor. I have seen a lot of doctors since 2000 and never been treated the way his staff has treated me iam apparel at this office .sad so sad...!!!!

Dr Ferroni is wonderful, unfortunately you need to get through his nasty office staff before you can get to see him. Wait time is anywhere from 1-2 hours. Bring a good book.

Never got to see the doctor. Made an appointment with no problems. Called back to confirm, and got a rude, ignorant sarcastic woman, who, upon discovering that I didn't have my old records asked, "What do you expect the doctor to do without your records?" In fact, I had asked about that when I made my appointment and was told that they could order my records for me; just bring the release to my first visit. Now I was being treated like this? When I told her it would take up to two weeks to get them from U of P, she laughed out loud and snidely challenged me: "What could possibly take THAT long?" as if it was making it up! Cancelled my appointment, and went to see a top-doc pulmonologist with a friendly and helpful staff. In nearly six decades of seeing doctors, I've never had an experience like this, and I've never rated a doc before. This was insulting, disrespectful and a total waste of my time.

This Dr. treated my mother who is a lung cancer survivor with total disregard for her compromised lungs and underlying heart issues. He stopped her heart medication and she ended up in CHF and died 7 weeks later on a ventilator. I would not recommend him for my dog.

I was very surprised to see that Dr. Ferroni is rated pretty highly on this site, as my experience with him and his office has been absolutely horrible. Maybe he's only so awful with his sleep medicine patients? Anyway, I started seeing Dr. Ferroni for constant fatigue, which ended in a diagnosis of sleep apnea and narcolepsy. Dr. Ferroni prescribed a medication for the narcolepsy and a CPAP for the sleep apnea. Even after bumping up to the highest dose, the medication did nothing for me. I called his office and was told that I had to come in for a recheck if I was interested in switching medications - I was okay with doing so. At that visit, I spent over an hour in the waiting room and then even more time waiting in the exam room before he finally showed up. He spent a total of about five minutes with me and gave me a script for a different medication. Right after my visit, I went to fill the med only to discover that it was (literally!) thousands of dollars per month (I don't have… health insurance, unfortunately). I then called Dr. Ferroni's office and asked the receptionist to give him a message that the medication is too expensive and I would need to try something else. I never heard back, so I called again two weeks later and left the same message. Same thing, never heard back. I have left many messages over the last two (yes, two!) months since that recheck appointment, but never heard back from him. I was even told when leaving my last message that he got all my messages and told the receptionist, "I don't know what else she expects me to do for her". And he STILL didn't call back. Now, I would have stopped putting up with this crap long ago if I had health insurance and could afford to go to a different doctor, but I could not. And, as anyone with narcolepsy knows, it can ruin your life...I just wanted something to make me able to stay awake at work, in the car, etc. So finally, I called again today and said that if I didn't get a solution today, I would go elsewhere. Not long after, I got a snippy voicemail from a nurse there who said that she left me a voicemail before saying that I had to come back for an office visit - I never received a voicemail and am willing to bet there never was one. When I called back, I said that I had just been in for an office visit and that I had been calling him about this problem since right after my last visit (like two months ago), so I didn't think I should have to go back for another one just because I couldn't afford the medication prescribed. The receptionist said that it was "per Dr. Ferroni" and that was that. I then told her that I wanted my records copied because I was going elsewhere. I also told her about the fact that I work in an animal hospital and that no doctor there could get away with mistreating a client/pet owner the way that Dr. Ferroni was treating me, and I remarked that it is sad that the standard of care is so much better at an animal hospital than it is at his office. The receptionist just said that it was a $20 fee (!!!) to copy my records or they could fax them to the new doctor. I know this was a very long review, but I really felt that prospective patients (especially those with sleep disorders) should know what they are getting into before going to this doctor. I can't help but wonder if the terrible care I received is due to the fact that I have no health insurance or something. It is baffling to say the least.

Absolutely terrible physician. No bedside manner or compassion for patient needs and patients family members. Dr. Ferroni only bandaids problems, does not take the time to figure out the source of a patients issues. Very insulting to family members and talks down to people. For a so called professional, he is far from it!!
