Absolutely horrible experience for extraction of a fractured molar and dental implant. I have had 2 other dental implants (by another Periodontist) with no problem. Dr. Frantz told me he would have to do a "sinus lift" that cost an additional $800.00 because he would be so close to my sinus with the implant. I paid over $2400.00 and left his office in horrible pain. That continued for days, only Percocet relieved it. After numerous CT scans, x-rays and repeat visits to his office I learned I had a raging sinus infection. His words. I spent 8 weeks on antibiotics with no improvement. I saw an ENT in consultation in Scranton but ultimately I consulted an ENT in Allentown who took one look at my CT scan and said "He perforated your sinus" and then proceeded to show me on the CT images. I ended up with painful sinus surgery and the $2400.00 implant fell out. Horrible experience, expensive and painful.
