Explains tests, medications, and further follow-up excellently, takes time with his patients and is very professional.

We are new to the area. We had trouble finding a doctor. Dr. Furst has been great. My wife and I are both happy with the doctor.

Pill pusher. Bases diagnosis completely on blood test. Doesn't listen to employer (me) description of a problem. Too quick to diagnosis without other symptoms of a medical problem - pill pusher. Too in bed with AMA and pharma industry..

DR. Furst is excellent! Establishing with him medically was a great experience. He is young enough to listen and think; he is not burned out yet! Very happy to be a new patient. That said, getting IN to the practice itself is more difficult than buying a car! They only want certain kinds of patients with very limited medicines. Good insurance is a must and being willing to submit your paperwork and have them decide if you are in their profile.....Generally, the Patient Care Coordinator is short, borderline rude and appears to be burned out. I come from a place where there were a LOT of medical professionals, so the other people in the office were always pleasant. Chico has a shortage of Docs, so overall we are at the mercy of the office staff. I don't even know if the Docs are aware of the staff. It also isn't everyone, but as a person trying to get in the system, I felt I had won the lottery. Be patient, humble, do what they say, when they say and you will have an… appointment with an excellent physician!

The wait to see Dr. Furst is made up for the fact he takes his time to really talk with his patients. He is really thorough and great about explaining things. I'm really glad I picked him for a primary physician.

I am very satisfied with my doctor. Dr. Furst covered everything I asked about in details that made sense to me. He went over every option I had with regards to my health, including the more natural routes without immediately recommending a bunch of medications. I left feeling supported and like I was going to succeed in my health goals. This is honestly the first doctor I've found that I feel absolutely comfortable with and in whose abilities I am totally confident. Yay!

I was very impressed with Dr. Furst. A new doctor to Chico, he is very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I saw him today as my regular Doc. was not available. He is thorough and spent more time with me than I think a doctor ever has. He explained his diagnosis as well as several choices for medications. I am considering switching to him as my primary doc. Although the wait to see him was long, it was the first day back for this office after a long holiday weekend and the office was full of sick people like me. I think it was an extraordinarily busy day.
