Dr. Bryan Douglas Graham, DDS

Dr. Bryan D. Graham
Dr. Graham is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. After high school, he attended the University of North Carolina and earned a bachelor's degree in public health. He went on to obtain a law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tennessee.
After graduation, Dr. Graham and wife, Jennifer, moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where Dr. Graham practiced law for almost five years.
Frustrated with the adversarial nature of the law, and hoping to make a more profound difference in peoples’ lives, Dr. Graham returned to school to become a dentist. He earned his dental degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 2007. That same year, he and his family relocated to Hickory to practice dentistry with Dr. Gunter.
Dr. Graham is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Western Piedmont Dental Society, and is a member of the prestigious Seattle Study …Club. He is also a Fellow in the International College of Oral Implantologists, which is awarded for his accomplishments in the field of implant dentistry. Dr. Graham is committed to continuing education, and has averaged more than 100 hours of continuing education each year he has been in practice.
Our Staff
One of the things that sets our dentistry practice apart is the experience and skill of our staff. Our staff is dedicated to making your visit pleasurable and beneficial. We believe strongly that you can tell a lot about a dental office by how long the staff has been together. We are fortunate that some of our employees have worked with us since 1975.
Office Administrators
When you enter our office, you will be greeted by our two dedicated office administrators, Joyce and Debbie. Joyce, who is our scheduling and patient coordinator, has worked in the office since 1991 and has been in dentistry for more than 40 years. Joyce is also a certified dental assistant.
Debbie, who joined our practice in 1998, is our financial and practice business coordinator. She has worked in dentistry since 1994.
Joyce and Debbie are dedicated to helping you find convenient appointments to work around your busy schedule, creating payment solutions that fit your budget, and making your dental experience as pleasant as possible.
Dental Hygienists
Our dental hygienists, Vickie and Tamera, provide high quality dental hygiene treatment designed to optimize the health of their patients’ gums and the bone that supports the teeth. Vickie has worked with Dr. Gunter as a dental hygienist since 1975, and Tamera has worked in the office since 1989. Their experience is evident in their work, as well as in their ability to relate to patients and make them feel calm during their visits to the practice.
Vickie and Tamera are assisted by Denise, a dental assistant who has worked here in the office since 1994, and has been a dental assistant since 1970. Denise works closely with Vickie and Tamera to ensure that your hygiene visit is rewarding and that when you leave, your gums and surrounding tissue are optimally healthy.
Dental Assistants
Our dental assistants, Debbie, Jackie and Berida, aid in the delivery of efficient and precise dental care. Debbie, a certified dental assistant, and Dr. Gunter have worked together as a team since 1976.
Jackie is licensed in Alabama as a dental hygienist and has worked in the office since 2007. She entered the dentistry field in 1988 and during that time, has worked as a dental assistant and hygienist.
Berida joined our staff in 2008. She has worked in Hickory as a dental assistant since 1983, and her talents have been a welcome addition to our staff.
Together, the assistants work with the doctors in all dental procedures and are integral to our ability to provide state of the art dentistry.
