Dr House and his whole staff are amazing. I have been to other dentist before and have had horrible experiences. Just going in for routine check ups or minor work done took hours. I had to have a tooth pulled with Dr House and was in and out under an hour. This also included filling out new patient paperwork, xrays and a tooth pull. He is very caring and compassionate and makes you feel totally as ease and confident in his skills. I will never go anywhere again but hopefully I won't need to.

Buyer beware! I scheduled my college age son for an evaluation for wisdom teeth removal 19 Dec 16. Got the official written quote; our co-pay $833.00. Scheduled the surgery for 8 Aug 17. I had to go to PA due to a family emergency two days before the surgery. My wife took my son to the appointment. After receiving the bill, she commented that the price was a lot more than we expected; the receptionist said that was pre-insurance and they’d file. When I returned a week later and questioned why we paid the money up front the receptionist told me that Dr. House was no longer in our insurance network. I asked when he dropped out and was first told Jan then May. Regardless sometime between the evaluation and the surgery he dropped our insurance network; telling us didn’t make the cut. We found out he was out of the network one week after the surgery. When the insurance paid, our co-pay jumped to $2006.00. I contacted the Dr. office to try to work something out. Our position fell… on deaf ears, apparently, they don’t believe notifying patients when they drop an insurance network after scheduling a surgery is their responsibility. Somehow that doesn’t seem right. Competent surgeon but . . . watch your wallet.

Dr. House took 2-3 minutes to take a biopsy and charged a $275.00 fee. Was told that the fee included the biopsy lab fee, and that I would be reimbursed after Insurance is filed. My insurance Payed off the lab fee directly, and his office staff informed me that the $275 fee is a separate charge from the lab fee. The cost of a tooth extract would have taken a lot longer and would have been cheaper under Dr. House and office staff insisted this is his standard fee. It appears the Dr did not pay for the $190.00 fee from the 275.00 charge, and now I am having to pay the full lab fee in addition to the 275.00 fee.

I have to admit I had a little anxiety due to the level of care and surgery I was needing. Being a physician having access to professional medical opinion, I naturally did my homework and found DR. House was held in very high esteem in the medical community, and after my visit I certainly concur. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every respect, I. highly recommend you consult with DR. House if you need advanced Dental care and or oral surgery.
