Dr. Bryan Douglas Mack, MD

In a state where competent doctor's can be found in every county and city, and who specialize in every field imaginable, it's nice to find one who chooses to stay and care for the people of a small community. Dr. Mack's bedside manner seems a bit cold. I don't know if he is just a quiet man, or if he just wants his patient to do all the talking, but it can be uncomfortable, if you are used to a more kindly style. The 2 staff I have met, Cindy and Lisa, are very different; friendly, helpful and kind. They do their jobs really well, and I'm glad they're the faces I see, when I'm not well. Refills on medication are done within 48 business hours. Important to keep in mind; if you need it on Saturday, or Sunday, call pharmacy on Wednesday. Dr. Mack's office is also open every first Saturday of the month, for folks who cannot come during the week. I don't know about hospital attendance, but imagine that letting attending hospital physicians take care of admissions is standard, these… days. I do wish this would be different. All doctors are careful about what they prescribe, so even after I was established as a patient, I still had to come in for a 3rd course of anti-fungal medication.
