He was great. Two of my nurses said I was lucky he was my surgeon.

Very experienced in DBS placement. He will be placing two pacers for my Parkinson's disease. I will rate again after the surgery. I liked his dry sense of humor and his direct approach. He explained the procedure completely. I feel comfortable with him doing my surgery, plus it is taking place right in my home town. I am glad Dr Payne is here and not somewhere else.

After waiting over an hour, this doctor comes in and has no clue what is wrong, I have to ask questions and he doesn't explain anything. Then he just says: Ok, I'm leaving you now. ??? Very disappointed that after waiting that long in a freezing cold room just to be told I don't know. Do something! Send me to someone who does know!
