Dr. Bryan Michael Purdy, MD

First of all, I don’t take lightly having to post this review. I am doing it for the safety and public service announcement to others. HAD I known his name ahead of time, I would have reviewed. I was told a different doctor. That is also of concern. this jokester who claims to be a doctor is the most derelict physician I have had the unpleasant experience to deal with. He appears to have his own agenda and makes claims in front of other patients that are defamatory in nature. In addition the anesthesiologist is your discharging physician and I repeatedly asked to make sure I was sent home with scripts (one assumes they are SIGNED). As time goes on, I will post more information and reviews on this guy. The reviews here are serious - broke teeth! You can't intubate without breaking teeth. Right now I am just thanking God he didn't use general anesthesia on me or I might not be here to post this! In my honest opinion, he should be shelved immediately and shadowed for at least… a year by another anesthesiologist and sent back for both medical training and in ADA and other areas. Any group that employs him is taking on risks that are deadly and costly.

I had an endoscopy under general anesthesia. Dr. Purdy broke a tooth in 2 places but neglected to mention it. After 3 weeks of infection and pain my dentist diagnosed it. I am now facing a 4,000 dollar implant and their insurance company won't pay because this is a common consequence I understand.
