Dr. Bryan D. Rynearson, MD, MD

I never actually met the doctor. I only got to see his PA. They told me that I have a couple of slightly bulged discs in my neck pinching a nerve. They told me to try a steroid injection to see if they helps and if it doesn't then it would be surgery after that. I am not happy with that they are ready to hurry up and cut me open. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Excellent visit!! Answered ALL questions and was professional and compassionate! Surgical intervention went smoothly ( UPMC facility) and in post op explained all information to husband. Visited in post op and spent adequate time with all questions! Highly recommend!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. He’s an absolutely incompetent surgeon with a dangerous ego. He paralyzed a healthy patient in their 30s.

Do your homework before your appointment! Dr. R has not been a "spine surgeon" for very long at all. I would have given him ZERO stars if I had this option! I had a horrific experience with him. His assistant did the physical exam without him even being in the exam room. He literally never even examined me at this appointment or any previous appointments! He cut me off continuously with every single question and concern as well as completely ignored the plan that a senior UPNC neurosurgeon had discussed with him. The senior UPMC neurosurgeon had MANY more years of experience with my medial condition than DR. Rynearson He wouldn't answer any of my questions - just ignored the questions my husband and I both asked him. I would never recommend him to ANYONE with spinal problems - he may be an excellent RN (which is what his previous profession was), but definitely NOT a skilled or competent neurosurgeon or orthopedic provider!!!

Dr Rynearson & his team are absolutely fantastic. Rebuilt my cervical spine. Treatment was 5stars, very friendly, took their time with all my questions, were very thorough and demonstrated great care and compassion for me. Im extremely impressed by him and Jeff Cameron his assistant. Im greatful for what they did and how they treated me.
