Dr. Bryan Lee Sowell, MD

I came to him for help with symptoms that i have been experiencing for over a year now and I’ve gotten no help. He would constantly talk over me and cut me off, ignoring what i said, and when he found out I had past mental health issues he made every appointment about that. Id try explaining how badly my symptoms have been impacting me, and he’d sidestep it to ask if I’ve been experiencing any depression or anxiety, which I have never brought up to him. I explained that isnt why I’m seeing him, but he thinks it’s more important then daily headaches, stomach pain, nausea, and presyncope. He would also tell me to keep his other patients in mind when I’d try to talk more about my symptoms or ask further questions. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone unless all you need is a simple referal, because thats all he’s good for. He was rude, weird, and dismissive every appointment.

Never see Dr. Sowell; he is the worst. Always interrupts and never explains what is happening. You can't let him know if something else is wrong because he will blow you off. His response is the next visit I will examine you better. Come on, why wait until the next visit if you have me in front of you now. Why provide a BETTER exam at the next visit; a good doctor will provide the best always. Who would want a mediocre doctor examining them. We were not asking for narcotics, we were just concerned about other issues and thought since we are here, we can ask to see what he thinks. Instead he says I will be back, a little after the nurse will arrive and say the doctor is done and has discharged you. How did Dr. Sowell discharge when he left us asking questions? Come to find out that we are only allowed 15 minutes per visit. Don't waste our 10 minutes talking about your life experiences and allow 5 minutes for a doctor visit. Don't worry Dr. Sowell we will never come to see you… again. You are the worst doctor ever! Have a nice day and thank you for nothing!!!!!

Dr. Sowell has been my doctor since 2008. When the insurance company didn't approve my new diabetes medicine the office staff went above and beyond until they did. I never wait long and Dr. Sowell spends as much time as needed to address all my issues. In 2014, I complained of a little pain in my chest, not heart related. I was in ex-ray within minutes and referred to a pulmonologist within two weeks. It was cancer. I had part of my lung removed and am cancer free. It is due to Dr. Sowell's ability to listen and act on what me, his patient, is telling him. He didn't question or try to brush it off as a little ache and pain. I truly believe he saved my life, along with my oncologist. Thank you

After having the same doctor for years who would hardly ever show up on time to appointments, leaving you to wait for him for 2 to some 4 hours. I was really impressed with the way Dr. Sowell was courteous of how long he kept me waiting and also his staff, he takes out time to find out what the situation I was going through, and showed great concern...

Just want to say I have had to deal with a lot of doctors in my time, but I am truly amazed at how he makes things easy for you.

he is a very good doctor. always takes the time to listen to why you are there. never makes you feel like you are being rushed. he makes sure you have had every shot and prevenative test that you are suppose to have. i have had good doctors before,but i have never had one that truly cares about you as an indiviual,and makes sure that everything possible is being done to solve all of your health issues. i can honestly say that all doctors,nurses and all other staff at this clinic have nothing but your health at interest. they all are very exceptional at their jobs!
