Doctor trout is one I saw for right ankle after I injured it three years ago and he never gave up on me and he did my surgery yesterday

Dr. Trout was awesome. He came in with a plan after reviewing my X-ray’s, told me what will be done to repair my foot and it was explained so that I could understand in layman’s terms. Dr. Trout was very personable. I’m very confident in my decision moving forward under Dr. Trout’s care. The staff at Iowa Ortho are just as exceptional, from the front desk to the X-ray technician and the nurse. I’m very confident with my decision to go ahead and have Dr. Trout perform the required surgery to fix my foot and toes!

All the staff were welcoming and pleasant and happy…… and it was even a gray day Monday!! ?? Dr Trout made me feel very informed as he explained what he found with the x ray ……. He gave his options and helped make it an easy decision for best plan for my foot……. He was very personal-able and very comforting and the friendly atmosphere made me feel very cared about and his knowledge and experience made me confident in my decisions.

Dr Trout is an excellent surgeon. He answered all my questions thoroughly. He is great with follow up appointments to make sure everything is correct. When asking questions he listens intently. I would recommend Dr Trout for any foot issues.

Dr. Trout is an elite surgeon. I have struggled with an Achilles injury for over 12 years and after a couple tough surgeries I did not think I had an option for a complete fix. He confidently took on the difficult challenge to correct my Achilles with a full repair not just a cleanup, where many others would not touch it. My expectations were exceeded-my appearance, functionality and pain is so much improved and almost back to normal (still rehabbing). It has changed my quality of life and optimism to regain my athletic functionality. I have learned the hard way that the wrong surgeon or a poor surgery can have lasting negative impacts on your life. I am forever grateful to him and will forever refer Achilles or related surgeries his way no matter what part of the country I’m in!
