Dr. Bryan Wesley Turner, MD

Horrible experience with this doctor. He missed diagnosed me. I went to had to go to another doctor. To find out what was going on with me. I highly recommend do not go to this person.

He runs a wellness center but his receptionist/nanny is overweight and you can hear her breathing from across the room. His other receptionist, his wife, Summer, is rude and unprofessional, he never should have let the cute sweet girl he had before go. He let's his wife bring her dogs into the office, is that even sanitary? Everything changed when he married Summer and he allowed her to be in charge of everything. Summer should get her own career and stop riding on his. You're running a doctor's office, so maybe ya'll could be a little more professional. I had a friend that called his office because he was having chest pain and a pain in his arm, Summer told him to come into the office, he sat there for over and hour in pain, sweating.. finally he got up to go find Dr. Turner since Summer was no longer at the front desk, he found them making out in the hall rather than tending to his needs. Come to find out, he was having a heart attack! Dr. Turner's old receptionist would have known… he was having a heart attack, at least she had some kind of medical trainjng, unlike the two he has had since. Get your practice under control Dr. Turner, it's turned into a joke!

Dr. Turner charges an outrageious fee to his patients who need pre-authorization for prescription medications. This is very expensive to low-income patients who need the medications and are charged an extra $30.00 to get an authorization. This $30 can mount up fast.

This doctor is very caring. He accurately diagnosed me and referred me to an appropriate specialist. I think he's brilliant.

Dr. Turner nearly cost me my life. He had been telling me my blood results showed I was not anemic. We had discussed the possibility I might be anemic because of some other medical issues I was having. He told me for 4 years my blood results said I was not anemic. I changed Doctors a few months ago. I went and picked up my records from Dr. Turner's office. When my new Dr. looked at them, she said, "you are so anemic, and have been for years." Dr. Turner cannot read a basic CBC. I would not ever go to him. Anemia is a very easy thing to diagnose. Also, always get a copy of your blood tests so you can personally review them. A big mistake I made.

I've been a patient of Dr. Turners for several years and up until recently the experiences I've had with him and his staff have been wonderful! But over the past few months things around there have REALLY changed, and not for the better. He used to care about us, his staff used to be kind and care about us but now I always just feel like I'm being rushed in and out of his office and his wife, that is his secretary now, has some serious mood swings! One minute she's happy and semi nice and the next she's throwing a fit like a 2 year old, not to mention that she is completely unprofessional, working the front desk in some nasty looking sweats and no shoes, talking about things that are ridiculously inappropriate for the work place. He must bring is dogs to work with him as well because I've seen them roaming around the office and can sometimes hear them barking during my appointments or while I'm in the waiting room. Then the part that really got me, he runs a wellness center, but his… other secretary is extremely over weight and you can hear her breathing from across the room. I miss his old secretary, at least she was nice, listened, cared and got stuff done. I honestly don't know what he is doing with his business anymore besides ruining it. If I could find another doctor that could help me the way he has, I would leave and never look back!

Having a variety of health issues from asthma to chronic sinusitis and of coarse SPD i have had to frequent doctors most of my life. I met doctor turner in the oddest of ways actually when i was about 12 years old i had a sever asthma attack that sent my mother and i to the local after hours clinic. Doctor turner was there not as a physician but as a father his daughter was having a similar medical emergency. While waiting there we struck up a conversation and the result of the evening was clear the information and advice that he gave us was at least 3 times that off the registered nurse on staff. I have been going to doctor turner ever since and everything you read in the other reviews is absolutely true he listens to your actual problems and respects your point of view. Having been diagnosed by the jordan school district with a disorder that wasn't even recorded at the time SPD i have had to try out several behavioral meds. Doctor turner has been imperative in my success over coming… this disability he has always kept a close watch on my medications side effects and immediately changed my prescription if they became to much. I recommend him to anyone my office visits feel more like catching up with an old family friend.

I've been seeing Dr. Turner for a few months now. I have a lot of issues so I had seen a lot of different doctors before I started seeing him. Before I had even had my first visit, from the first time I spoke with his receptionist, I just knew that these were people who were going to help me and actaully listen and care about me. Unlike the other doctors I've seen in the past, Dr. Turner takes the time to listen to what's going on with you and takes the time to explain to you, in depth, what he finds out is wrong with you or what you have already been diagnosed with. The only bad thing I can say about Dr. Turner is that it seems like he runs behind schedule pretty often, but I know that is only because he give each and every patient all the time they need with him. I did have one strangle experience at my last visit, while I was waiting in the lobby for my turn with Dr. Turner I overheard someone who I thought was his employee making some very inappropriate "jokes". She was being very… loud about it too, to the point where I actually heard Dr. T urners receptionist ask her very kindly to take it down a notch because she was on the phone, which she didn't do. I felt she was very rude, not only were her "jokes" distasteful, but given how loud she was being I'm sure the patients calling in could hear everything she was saying. I had every intention of letting Dr. Turner know how I felt about what she was saying and doing but after the woman walked away I asked his receptionist who the woman was and I was told that it was his wife, and after hearing from Dr. Turner at a previous visit how infatuated he is with her, I decided that reporting her inappropriate behavior wouldn't do any good. I hope that what I saw and heard was a one time thing because I really respect and appreciate Dr. Turner but his wife's actions were unprofessional. Besides that I can't think of a bad thing to say about Dr. Turner or his clinic. He saved my best friends live and I trust him fully with my life and health. I highly recommend him!
