"My husband, who is the only pediatric dentist in the area, and I had a vision to establish
a professional building housing a combination of dental specialties all under one roof.
Our vision became a reality when the North Star Professional Building opened in July
2007," said Dr. Ritter. "We are very excited to announce our most recent addition,
Vibeto Orthodontics."
Dr. Bryan Vibeto is a former Minot resident who recently graduated from the Mayo
Clinic. With the addition of Vibeto Orthodontics to the offices of Ritter Family Dentistry,
Dakota Kids Dentistry and the Face and Jaw Surgery Center, the vision for the North
Star building is now complete.
Ritter Family Dentistry utilizes state-of-the-art technology and is completely
computerized. Using digital technology speeds up processes with outside laboratory
services, color matching capabilities and improved aesthetic work. They even have TVs
in each room so patients can watch what they want during their procedure. "We have
an all …digital office. Our X-rays are digital, which reduces the levels of radiation," said
Dr. Ritter. "We have also gone to a paperless system, which hopefully saves a few
trees."
Technology aside, RFD's main goal is prevention and education. "My first priority is to
teach patients of all ages to care for their smile. Education is the majority of the patient
visit," said Dr. Ritter. "When they leave here, I want to ensure that they completely
understand what we did for them and what they need to do to take care of their teeth."
Dental care goes deeper than just a pretty smile; there are numerous health benefits as
well. When you feel good and you feel like you look good, you are more apt to reach
out to others, even to cheer up the lonely. Remember those words in the song by Louis
