Dr. Bryan James Wolf, MD

This man is very rude, and very condescending. He made fun of my pain, said my former Rhuematologist was an idiot, and refused to do a physical exam, refused to tell me the side affects of a medicine he was prescribing (saying that then i would LIE and said I had those side affects). I said "what do you think I am, a Hypocondriact?" he didn't answer, he just snickered and sat in silence. I have had autoimmune disease for many years, this man was unprofessional, rude, and said things that a decent doctor would not say. I left there in tears. He also said something that I will be reporting to the medical board.

doesn't want to listen. wants to to talk all the time. unfriendly demeanor. can't ask questions or answer questions in a understandable manner.complete waste of time and money.won't be back!

I don't know what these other people who wrote reviews are smoking, but I love Dr. Wolf! He is an excellent listener, is never in a rush and always takes time to hear me out and meet my needs. He is quick in getting back to me if I call the office. The ladies at the front desk are always very sweet. He doesn't take my insurance, but I see him anyway because he is that awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend him as a rheumatologist. Very knowledgeable as well.

My husband was referred to Dr. Wolf for a suspected autoimmune disease. Our experience with this doctor was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician and I am an RN and have worked in the hospital at night! He was condescending, rude, he bad mouthed our primary care provider. He was extremely unprofessional. He treated my husband and I like we were the dumbest people he had ever met, acted as if he couldn't believe we even got in his door. This man apparently expected our primary provider to have done his job for him. He seemed to have expected that the entire work up for an autoimmune disease would have already been done. I mean I know I'm "just a nurse" but I would think that the specialist who is the expert in autoimmune disease would be the one to do that. In my work as a nurse I work with a lot of physicians and this man was the worst I have EVER dealt with. It makes me so sad to think that people with no medical knowledge would see this doctor and be treated… this way and think they are stuck with him. I know our area is short on specialists and it is hard to get in with them but this doctor is not worth seeing. Do not waste your time or your hard earned copay.

Dr. Wolf has caused severe trauma to our family as he removed my husband from care without notification or cause. When we reached out, we were told that my husband had to cancel too many appointments due to work. My husband works for a company that gives him no time off. So, every time we needed to reschedule we were told that it was no problem because we rescheduled before the 24 hour period and they would happily reschedule him. He only had to reschedule twice. He was dropped without cause, leaving him without rheumatology care for the past 8 months. This has left him in severe pain due to the medication that doctor Wolf had him on. Thank you for causing pain around Reno Dr. Wolf.

Belligerent and rude. Was referred to this doctor and told that if I hadn't received a call from the him I should call. I did and he got angry, then started denigrating my provider, Renown, telling me that I should "take everything they say with a grain of salt." Very unprofessional. At one point felt the need to point out that "I'm the doctor!" As if that explained his suspension of common courtesy. My recommendation: look elsewhere.

I was referred to Dr Wolf to be my new Rheumatologist, since moving from another state. This was a total and complete waste of my time and $40 copay. There aren't enough negative phrases, words, or adjectives in the English Language to adequately express my disgust. He has NO personality. No expressive language. Seems he would prefer i NOT have come in to see him. Didn't even know the MD who referred me, though she refers to them all the time. Spent a large amount of time in silence, actual silence, as he ticked away at his computer. Wrote me NO Rx...are you taking me under your care or what? Advised me that I MUST be on a particular blood thinner, that he wouldn't manage it, that I needed to find some doctor who would. There is no co-management of chronic disease with him. Simply put, don't bother. You WILL be disappointed.
