Dr. Bud Allan West, MD

I saw Dr. West for a rather invasive surgery with multiple parts, and while I was very nervous, he made it seem like a piece of cake! His confidence had a calming affect. He is very matter-of-fact and honest, but passionate about finding the right option for you. He's incredibly knowledgeable! My surgery had fantastic results and I couldn't be more grateful that he was my doctor for it. I saw 2 surgeons prior to him, and I'm grateful I chose him every time I think about it!

Dr West appears very experienced and knowledgeable. While he answered our questions I felt he should have expanded more on the recommended surgery and what to expect (concerned parents don't know what to ask). Also the office staff that went over the details of the procedure was so rushed to get through everything we didn't get anything! Marking on a couple places on a paper does not ensure proper patient education. As someone in healthcare I would say that while the expertise may be there the communication is lacking. We are considering alternatives.

My two children and I have all seen Dr West over the years. He has done two surgeries on one child with success. He's the best doctor we've seen in Reno. Professional, kind and knowledgable. I'd recommend (and have) him to adults and children.

I love this doctor!!! When others couldn't help me or they gave me the wrong diagnosis, Dr. West pinpoints the issue and cures me every single time. He's AMAZING. I wish every doc were this good.
