Dr. Burke Samuel Richmond, MD

He diagnoses my sister with a brain tumor (cancer). we asked him how he was sure its a tumor and why he was sure its cancer just by seeing an MRI test ( although he is not a Neurologist). he said I contact a Neurologist and he diagnoses it my sister went into a deep depression because of what he found. after 2 weeks we meet the same Neurologist he claimed that he diagnosed the tumor and cancer and we were shocked when he said I never mentioned Tumor or cancer to Dr. Richmond, and your brain has nothing to worry about it, is just the contrast added to your body during THE MRI test could show this in the test. I don't know why he said this and why he was so sure and he didn't give us any chance for other possibilities. for some reason, he wasn't saying the truth. however such a doctor should not be in the UW hospitals

I saw Dr. Richmond for vertigo which I had had for several years he changed my medication he paid attention to me he even called me after hours at my home to explain what was going on with me after I had had a terrible attack! He took me seriously showed me breathing techniques to help me focus and regain my balance. Although he talks quickly and gives you lots of options of what might be wrong he really wants to see you get well he is invested in his patients. He’s very dedicated physician and I am grateful for the fact that after four years of vertigo that maybe want to shoot myself I now do not happen although I am always afraid it will come back

I went to him in 2007. He had me in tears by the time I got to my car. He was rude. When I gave him my symptoms he told me that I did not want MS. I did not even know that was a possibility. He checked my balance and I stumbled. He told me in a stern voice that I could stand up. As if I was faking it. I never went back. Nor did I cancel my follow up appt. He did not deserve the respect of that.

I appreciate Dr. Richmond very much. He is helping me work through some serious medical issues. I like his direct and honest approach to communicating with me.

I don’t know how this guy got into the ENT department at the UW. He’s not a boar certified otolaryngologist, or any kind of surgeon ( I wouldn’t trust him placing ear tubes, or even suctioning wax). The research he lists has to do with the foot prints of cavemen (???), and absolutely nothing about ear conditions or procedures. I think what he knows about otology he got in a mail order course. He likes to give you snake oil useless crap in your ears. That’s his one trick.

He charged me an exorbitant amount for a biopsy of a tiny lesion on my face and refuses to give me the results unless I come in for another office visit. When I requested copies of my records he wants to chatge me another $60 to get them. This provider only cares about how much money he can make off you.

Burke Richmond is not an ENT. He is only family practice. He doesn't care about you or your health. Recently he has created an email address that includes the word "SURGERY" in it. Any one about to get any SURGERY from Broke Richmond should ask to see his hand turned upright. It will reveal he has a very severe fine tremor unbecoming of any "surgeon". This man will literally scar you for life.
