Dr. Burton Wayne Job, DDS

The staff is so sweet in the two offices of dr.Job i have been to (akron and norton). dr.Job himself, however was very impatient and even rude making comments about how i was acting "like an 8 year old" during the extremely painful experience a week after my wisdom teeth removal when i got "dry socket". He told me he thinks it is dry socket but isnt sure.. I wanted him to check further into my pain and discomfort but instead he treated it as a dry socket and quickely patched me up and sent me on my way. He is only concerned about time not about you as a patient. I will never recommend him to anyone!

I went to Dr. Job for an examination of my wisdom teeth. My experience was not one I want to repeat, nor will I have further business with Dr. Job. In my experience, Dr. Job spoke as if he was giving a guided tour at a museum. After he had finished his speal I thanked him, told him I would have to give it some thought (as he told me I needed up to 5 surgeries, adding the wisdom teeth at the end with no true evaluation of my xrays, just that it was "the opportune time" to do it.)The reason I will never go back to him is after his information and thanking him, he pressed me twice if I was going to schedule. I kindly responded that I needed to talk it over with my husband. He turned on me completely! My face became flushed, my pulse raced, and I tried to sink even farther back in my chair. I was completely agasped at his response, and offended. I tried to gather my thoughts, and though I'm the kind of person that usually won't say a word after that kind of situation, it was so uncalled… for, I politely said, "I'm sorry if I offended you..." He continued in a harsh way that it didn't offend him, but that he had 10-15 minutes worth of preop to talk over and if I didn't plan to schedule, he didn't want to go on. He didn't soften one bit. Treatment Length with Dr. Job: 1 day. (By the way- I have average teeth, I don't need those surgeries.. Jaw lengthening? I don't think so... I understand it's his job, but tell me about the reason I came in=Wisdom Teeth, or atleast be polite and I would have appreciated the time you spent talking more.)
