Dr. Burton Richard Rubin, MD

When my 70 year old father, with a family history of heart attacks, complained of chest pain to Dr. Rubin, rather than send him to the ER immediately, he told my father to make an appointment to see him the following day. My father never made it to that appointment because he died the night before. Even worse, when he didn’t show up, Dr. Rubin didn’t think to call his emergency contacts to inform them of this troubling news. My father was a hypochondriac - if Dr. Rubin had even suggested that he should go to the ER, he would have gone immediately. Maybe he would have died anyway - but maybe not.

I have been a patient for Dr. Rubin for many years. He is very knowledgeable and I appreciate his availability and quick response time.

He spends excellent and extended quality time talking about life, lifestyle, diet, exercise. I never feel rushed.
