Dr. Burton Timothy Wang, MD

While the doctor himself is personable and professional, that’s unfortunately the only positive aspect of this office. My parents' experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. First, they assured my parents that they accepted their insurance, only to bill them an extreme amount three months later, claiming they were out of network. Despite paying the bill on time, the office refused to refill my parent’s insulin prescription while they were in the process of finding a new doctor. Their reasoning? They are only responsible for patients for 30 days. It's hard to believe that a doctor's office could show such little regard for their patients' well-being. Who would want to trust their health to a place that doesn’t seem to care about their patients at all? My parents certainly won’t be returning, and I cannot recommend this office to anyone who values their health.

I am a patient of Dr. Wang he is my family physician. I am assigned an endocrinologist for diabetics appointments with a doctor not assigned to Redlands/Yucaipa Medical Group. When I go to the endocrinologist they are required to send a report to Dr. Wang's office. Many times Dr. Wang's office has stated they have not received the notes, one time it took 4 times for the diabetes doctor to send this information before the nurses at Dr. Wang's office acknowledged receipt of the notes. Also prescription follow through is often lacking. nurses in the office say they will call you back or send over the prescription to the pharmacy of choice and it never gets there only after several calls to the office. The open house was very nice and Dr. Wang made many promises but they are not kept just marketing tools empty promises by him and his staff.

very good listener only compaint not good with getting back with you after lab tests, rang 2 weeks later told by receptionist not been looked at by dr yet ,now another 4 days and still nothing?

I have a difficult medical history and needed a local doctor to facilitate things with my specialists. He not only welcomed me upon greeting me but he said, I will be quarterbacking your care. What a breath of fresh air. A doctor who cares and is put together. I have found this to be true with his staff and their willingness to get issues with insurance, referrals etc taken care of in a timely manner. The office is nice and clean. The doctor is easy to work with and cares as does his staff. I can't recommend this doctor enough.
