Dr. Byron William Biscoe JR.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the care/exam I received. 1. What kind of doctor will tell you you have 20/20 vision but need reading glasses? That is what Dr. Biscoe told me. 2. What kind of eye exam makes you read the SAME letters from each eye, only once, and even if you make a mistake they pass you and give you 20/20? 3. What kind of doctor will dilate your pupils and then send you out into the sun without ANY warning or caveat not to drive? I could have been blinded. I have never had this procedure before. I asked if it was okay to drive and Dr. Biscoe told me it was. 4. I was told I had "sunburn" in one eye?!? I explained the issue I am having with my vision, but was told I had 20/20, and needed reading glasses. Huh? Make sense of that. Needless to say, I continue to have the vision problems I do - seeing shadowed type and unclear edges. I suffered immensely from teh dilated pupils; I almost blinded myself due to the non-instructions I was given. It took 8 hours… to get my vision back to normal. In the meantime, I get a bill from Dr. Biscoe's office. Good luck in getting paid on that! Dr. Biscoe's office already billed my insurance company an exorbitant amount, and I paid a co-pay and lost a whole day's work because of their inept office practices. Oh! Not to mention that Dr. Biscoe was so consume with the fact that his cell phone had gone overboard on one of his sailing trips to Caneel Bay that weekend, that he seemed quite distracted when he did examine me. p.s. I am speaking of the younger Dr. Biscoe here. I believe he has a practice with his father, so I want to make sure this refers to the correct one I saw.

Probably many are affraid to addressed the issues. Dr. Biscoe I am a long term patient of yours. What happened to your Staff where is Ms. Donastorg she was one of your greatest asset to your company as far as patient staff relations she is a gem.The compassion of your new staff is'nt as warm and genuine as what I know, Yes Mrs. Harrigan was a lil firm at times but it was a tip top tight ship. Probably I'm from the old school and accustome to when who have a staff member like Ms. Donastorg who put out that extra effort to call and follow up after surgery or bring paper work at your front door when your not able to come and get it is unreal in today society. Several of your patients miss her and you give us no explanation of where she is. May god bless her. Dr.Biscoe your new staff ethics needs alot of improvement the closeness and sympathy that was once there is gone and your personal attentive touch and concern is not what it once was. Like I said being an old patient of yours I choose… to stay but it sad to know that the change wasnt for the best. Mrs.Harrigan I know wherever you are its a tip top ship there... May god bless. Probably you should think about your company couple years from now or find the gems you once had to put you back on the high road you once was on. The wait time is awfull and at times your skipped over and front desk dont look at you in your eyes when she is talking to you friend isnt always the best choice for employment. Confirmation on appointment are not made and noone answers when you call your office and when you show up no ones there on the days your in surgery? Out of respect for your patients What Happened to your class of perfection? We are loosing our respect in you professionalism.......

First time visit to office, I guess one would say its not a professional Dr.'s Office its a zoo. Staff sucks, after waiting hours and being boldly told by an old Hag Mrs.Harrigan that runs the office and never smile that its a new staff and she has to do everything herself. Dr. Biscoe spent couple minutes with us and shove us through the door to give a bill that anyone can see the numbers. Not a place to go. Seek help else where.Horrible staff office is a joke.
