Dr. Byron Keith Elliott, DDS

I had a couple of really bad experiences with oral care about 18 years ago and had not gone back since. finally getting back to regular visits with a local Dentist, I was rerefer to Dr. Elliot to correct some past dental work. He doesn't talk a lot but he gets down to business and does very, very good work. His staff always have a smile on their faces, and they made sure I was comfortable, They have changed my perception of Orthodontist, Thank you Byron and staff!

My old dentist referred me to him. Dr. Elliott missed a 4th root, causing me to have an infection for many years, but thinking it was a sinus infection. Lots of time and money spent to figure out and correct the problem. My old dentist that referred me ignored my symptoms I told him about. I won't go back to either one ever again.

The staff as well as Dr. Elliott couldn't have been better, he came in went to work & done the root canal totally pain free, then wished me a good evening. The attendant as well as office staff were outstanding, AAA+++

I hate leaving 1 star reviews but in this case I hate even having to give this arrogant guy 1 star. He deserves 0 stars. Judging by the previous reviews I am far from being the only one who feels this way about him. He makes snide remarks about you and the pain you are having and acts as if he is doing you a favor by looking at your teeth and that you are wasting his time. He gets paid to do his job and should do it right. I had a root canal done by him two years ago and it is still sensitive to pressure. If he would have done it right then I wouldn't still be having pain. Instead, he likes to act as if you are crazy if you have a problem with his work and tells you there is no way that you should still be having pain and that "your tooth pain is getting a little old". Very unprofessional. No way to run a business and again, judging by the other reviews on here, I am not the only one who feels this way about him. Hopefully he will learn not to be such a smart you know what to his… patients or he will have no patients left. The only thing he has going for him is some of his staff. The staff I've dealt with are friendly and seem caring (can't speak for all) but not Elliott. I sure won't be going back to him, and unless you want to go through what me and some of the other reviewers have went through, I would advise you find another Endodontist.

I have had a lot of dental work due to a car accident. Dr. Elliot was by far, the worst experience I've ever had in a health care setting. He was rude from the start and the only time he spoke during the procedure was to go on about his personal life. He puts a towel over your eyes while he works which I found odd. I was clearly in excruciating pain, having felt much of what he was doing, and begged for novocaine, but he refused to administer more. Finally, the nurse told him that I needed more novocaine, and he ignored her. At one point, he left the room for about 15 minutes, and I could hear him giving a consultation to another potential patient! When I left I was in the worst pain of my life, crying and moaning. I have heard horror stories from others who have had the misfortune to use his services. I have since had 2 root canals from my dentist. It didn't hurt for a second. I never felt a thing and didn't have to take pain medication afterward. There is something… terribly wrong with Dr. Elliot.

Dr. Elliott does not put patient comfort first. He does not take the time to explain what he is about to do and he did not speak to me during the procedure with the exception of reprimanding me for moving due to the pain. He even took a personal phone call for about 15 minutes in the middle of the procedure! I would not recommend him at all.

He has the latest in everything but lacks personality. He did not numb me enough & when I told me so he gave me another shot but he did not stop & wait for it to take effect.
