Dr. Byron F Harper, MD

Everyone at Dr. Harper's office is genuinely caring. His style is unique and not for everyone, however, he is an excellent doctor who truly cares for his patients. If you want to experience personal and thorough medical care he should be your doctor.

I went to see dr. Harper for my yearly exam because he was under my insurance. He then tried to sign me up for the VIP service for 1600 dollars a year extra and told me he could not continue to see me unless I did. Then he would only prescribe me 2 months of my medication for anxiety/depression that I’ve never had a problem getting a years worth before and have been taking for over 10years. So now I have to pay to see another doctor for my prescriptions.

I went to Dr.Harper yesterday for a bad cough and cold. Because of the reason for my appointment, I was a little confused when the doctor asked me about my mental state. My eyes were watering due to cough and he says that I looked like I was about to cry. He did run a strep/flu tests and xrays, which were relavant, but he also was asking me about things that had nothing to do with my problem, like my period and when was my last mammogram. Then the doctor gives me a sales pitch on the Juice Plus vitimans and even make me watch a video on this. Finally he wrote me a RX for my cough and something to help me sleep at night, which didn't help. Oh, but I must mention this doctor had to PRAY with me before I could leave. I didn't sign up for a sales pitch or a preacher when I went to my doctors appointment. Needless to say I will never go back.

i heard about dr. harper from his patients while visiting biloxi, mi. on vacation from patients of his and then again while getting a manicure in fayetteville, ga. this doctor is phenomenal!. he has an unbeatable professional manner, very caring, really takes the time with the patient, no matter how many pateints he has in the waiting room. he has taken phenomenal care of both of my elderly patients. he is also very easy to get an appointment and his staf is also very courteous. i have never met a greater doctor.

I was pleased with Dr. Harper and his staff. On my first visit I was made welcomed. Dr Harper was through and listed carefully to my condition(s) multiple-including heart, sinus and prostate. He spent time with me and gave me a diagnosis and referals to treat my condition. Dr. Harper asked if he could pray with me! Never had a physician ask that question. Highly recommend!
